  Yuan Longping is one of the most famous agricultural scientists in China. Here are some facts about him.
  Yuan Longping was born in Beijing in 1930.From 1950 to 1953, Yuan Longping studied in Southwest Agricultural College. He made a special study of rice in 1964.And in 1974, he developed a new kind of rice. In the 1980s, Yuan Longping travelled around the world and gave advice about growing rice. He won World Food Prize in 2004.All Chinese people were proud of him. Since then, he helped many countries of the world grow more rice until 2021.
  Yuan Longping died on May 22nd, 2021. But he’s still remembered by people all over the world.
