学情分析: 本次教学对象为高一新生。
教学目标: 本节课课型为:听力、口语、阅读、写作的综合能力课 1.语言能力层面:培养学生英语听说读写综合能力(全方面培养); 2.思维品质层面:培养学生批判性思维能力(分析、建议策略类); 3.文化意识层面:帮助学生了解国外生活,培养国际意识(价值取向); 4.学习能力层面:培养学生信息收集以及团队协作能力(作业环节)。
教学重难点: 1. 分析短期出国游学的优点与缺点,并能用适当的语言表达自己的观点; 2. 分析一个好的学校应具备哪些方面的优点。
教学过程: Step 1 Lead-in by questions:引出主题short-term study trips abroad 1. 提问: Do you want to go on a short-term study trip abroad (大多数学生回答Yes) Which country do you want to go (一般会回答America, England, Australia, Canada等英语国家) What do you expect to do on a short-term trip abroad (Making foreign friends, eat delicious foreign food, visit famous tourist spot…) Step 2 Listen and answer:A1. 播放听力,学生作答,对照答案后,再次播放。 Listen to the conversation and answer the questions below. 1. About the language course
It lasted (1) two months.
Students practiced listening, speaking, reading and writing in class.
It offered cultural activities like learning Chinese calligraphy, (2) Chinese painting and Peking Opera.

About Sam’s experience
Sam’s (4) speaking skills improved most.

B: I see exactly what you mean. However, I wonder whether it’s really safe for high school students to travel to another country.
A: That’s a good point. But most exchange programmes provide a safe study environment. The students always travel in a group. B: Perhaps you’re right. Anyway, I also believe they’ll feel lonely, since they’ll be far away from their family.
A: I see what you mean. On the other hand, it’s actually easier to make friends on trips like that, since everyone is away from their family and classmates.

To go to the library, go down the road and walk past Teaching Buildings B and C, then turn left and you will come across the Library.
