When you talk to some people you know, you can use their names. If you are friends, use their first names; if your relationship is more formal, use "Mr", "Mrs", "Ms", etc, before their family names.
There are many other forms of address which can be used between friends and strangers. However, many of these are limited in use. For example, "pal" and "mate" can be used between strangers, but are usually only used by men talking to other men.

The Torch Festival(火把节) is a traditional festival which is celebrated among some ethnic groups(少数民族) in southwestern China, such as the Yi, Bai, Hani, Lisu, and Lahu, etc. It usually falls on the 24th or 25th of June, with three days of celebrations. The festival came from worship(崇拜) of fire by ancestors. For some ethnic groups, it's a tradition in the festival for elders to share farming experience with young people and educate them about taking care of crops.
During the festival, big torches are made to stand in all villages, with small torches placed in front of the door of each house. When night falls, the torches are lit and the villages are bright. At the same time, people walk around the fields and houses, holding small torches and placing the torches in the field corners. Inside the villages, young people are singing and dancing around the big torches that keep burning throughout the night. Other activities like horse races are also held during the festival.
In a horse race of the Yi people in Yunnan, torches are used to form hurdles for riders to get through. The Hani people in Yunnan traditionally tie fruits to torches with strings. When the strings are broken after the torches are lit, people struggle for the fruits for good luck.
For the Lisu people in Sichuan, the festival is an occasion for holding torch parades(游行). Big torches are carried by teams of people, which is like a fire dragon. If different teams meet, it's a tradition to exchange the big torches with one another.

Robots have certain advantages compared to humans. They are efficient, tireless, can be repaired when damaged and they never get sick. The last quality has made them the star during our fight against the COVID-19. While thousands of medical workers have fallen ill dealing with this highly infectious virus(病毒) and a lot more have to stay at home for fear of getting the disease, this isn't a problem for robots. This is why the COVID-19 outbreak is seen as the "tipping point" for robots to start to replace humans in certain jobs.
In hospitals, robots are used to perform high-risk tasks. In China, for example, a hotel in Hangzhou employed a robot to deliver food to people under quarantine(隔离). In Spain, robots are about to be used to test people for the coronavirus(冠状病毒).
In non-medical companies, robots are also replacing human employees since they don't have the problem of the social distancing and will never take sick leave. Fast-food chains like McDonald's are not only delivering food with robots in some areas, but also looking to use them as cooks and servers. Walmart and Amazon, for example, where robots are already used in packing and shipping, are planning to increase the number of robots in these areas.
But this sudden boom in robot demand doesn't mean that they can replace humans successfully in every aspect. According to Bill Smart, a roboticist at Oregon State University, the human contact between doctors and patients is still important. Doctors comfort the patients and guide them through hard decisions while robots are only doing daily tasks, like cleaning and giving tests.
It might be true that robots have certain advantages over humans, but they are still secondary to human's communication and emotion.
32. Which of the following is not the advantage of robots over human beings
A. They never fall ill.
B. They are efficient in work.
C. They can offer the best emotion support.
D. They can be repaired when damaged.
33. Why does the author take McDonald's and Walmart as examples
A. To explain robots are more intelligent than humans.
B. To prove robots have social ability wherever they are.
C. To prove McDonald's and Walmart are famous in the world.
D. To explain how robots replace humans in non-medical companies.
34. What can be concluded from the last two paragraphs
A. The demand for robots is too great to meet.
B. Human interaction is essential in many aspects.
C. Doctors can make more accurate judgement than robots.
D. Robots would replace humans in the future.
35. What's the best title of this passage
A. The Tireless Robots
B. People's Objection to Robots
C. Robots Aid in Coronavirus Fight
D. Robots Will Replace Humans

I have played music for most of my life—about twenty years. My parents had a piano in our house that I would pretend to play as a two-year-old kid. I started taking lessons at the age of ten. I loved to play. I would practice for three hours a day as a kid. As I got older, my teachers and parents wanted me to get serious about playing. So, in high school, I took music classes and played in some concerts to make them pleased. I traveled to other cities to play. The concerts and the traveling were hard on me. I was worried about making my parents proud and being the best I could be. When I left high school and went to college, I stopped playing as much. At some point, I decided not to play the piano anymore. But I never forgot the music. Now I just play for fun. I don't practice every day, and I don't have to become the best player anymore. But that's okay with me.

As we know, the number of wild animal is becoming smaller and smaller. Some of them are even dying out. The reasons are as follows:
To start with, people have been cutting down trees for building, causing some animals to lose their habitats. Besides, farmers use too much pesticide, which endangers the lives of some animals. In addition, to make money, some people have been killing rare wild animals.
In my opinion, it's time we took immediate measures to change the situation. We shouldn't cut down trees without permission. Instead, we are supposed to plant more trees to protect the animals' living conditions. At the same time, more nature reserves are expected to be set up.
I believe as long as we take action immediately, we will live in harmony with animals and life will become better.
