教学目标
At the end of this class, students will be able to: 1.通过生日主题短故事总结本单元所学内容,复习数字1-10,复习年龄相关知识。By reading the story about birthday, make a summary of this unit, review the numbers from one to ten and the topic about age. 2.合理利用本课强势主题(生日)适当拓展场景下日常对话能力;利用课内任务培养学生基本阅读技巧(通过扫读、略读等手段提高目标引导下的信息提取和总结能力)。Based on the questions and activities, training students’ reading skills like scanning. With the common topic of birthday, cultivating the oral ability of students under the real situation. 3.通过故事和实景视频激发学生基本道德素养,渲染通过掌握身边人(父母、朋友)的生日,激发学生孝敬长辈的传统美德和善待身边人、不吝祝福给予身边人尊重和快乐的基本社交正向引导。With the story itself and the self-made video, enhancing students’ affections to others.
教学内容
教学重点: 1.复习旧知(英文数字1—10和年龄相关内容)。Reviewing the numbers 1-10 and the sentences about age.
2.培养基本阅读技巧、但限于起始年段学情特点,应以简单任务为主。Developing the basic reading skill.
教学难点: 1.学生读懂理解故事细节内容(There’s Zoom. Let’s eat the cake.You are old.)
2.提升学生短语篇总结再现能力。The ability of summarizing a story in English.
教学过程
宣布上课,定位学习内容。(建立课堂仪式感、代入感。)T: Hello, ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to our English class. Nice to see you. In this lesson, we are going to learn Unit6 Happy birthday! Part C Storytime. Please get your books ready. 阐明本课学习目标。(建立基本思维导向。)T: By learning the Unit 6 Part A and Part B. We can count from one to ten. We can ask and answer the questions like How many and How old are you At first, in this lesson, we are going to rewiew what we have learned in unit 6 so far, like the numbers and the dialogue about age. Beside that, we should know some new knowledge like surprise and get some new reading skills. And finally understand the story. And you'd better know that please give your best wishes to your family members or your friends at the right time, like happy birthday! 利用How many animals can you see 复习数字1-10。T: OK, let's begin our class.Now, open your book please. Let's count: How many animals are there in the story You have ten seconds to count. Are you ready Here we go! 列数故事内出现的小动物,适当拓展动物词汇,形容词与名字位置关系等内容。T: I can see nine. You all did a great job!Next,I have 2 questions for you. Question 1: Whose birthday is it Question 2 How old is he Let's read the story together.(播放视频) 教师提出问题:①. And look at this picture. How many candles on the birthday cake Yes, there are 6 candles. So, Zoom, he is 6 years old. Well done kids! 教师提出任务:找出课文中3个和单词和常用短语。T: And the next. Please, read the story quickly and circle the words. You have 10 seconds to do this. Are you ready Let's begin! 存在句型there is简单化处理,主要向学生解释“存在”的概念。T: Did you circle the right words OK,look at the picture 1. Shh, There's Zoom. Or we can say Zoom is here! 教授单词gift,淡化商品价值观,需后续自制视频配合。T:the second one is the gift. On some special days, a gift is a present, you can give it to sb, like your friend, your parents. In this picture the duck can say that I have a gift for Zoom, too. 解释生词surprise,让学生感知surprise主客观用法。T: the next picture. Surprise, is an unexpected event or a piece of news. Like in this story, Zoom didn't know his friends will have a birthday party for him. He is so surprised. It's a big surprise. So, Zoom will say What a nice surprise! 解释so many基本用法,举例举一反三。T: Let's see what Zip says. So many candles. so many means a lot of. Zoom has so many friends. He has 9 friends here. 虽old并非严格意义上的生词,但在日常交际口语中比较常见,做好解释工作。T: he last one is the word old. You all are 7 to 9 or 10 years old, you're so young, you are not old. But your grandpa, grandma, they are like 80 to 90 years old, they are really old. Zoom is 6 years old, He is not old. So, he would say: I'm not old. Yes, Zip is making a joke. 辅助学生复述课文大意。T:Now I believe you all can read the story very well. Please read the story correctly fluently and emotionally. Let's begin! (播放音频)Good job! Look, Zoom is here. He wants to talk about his birthday. Please fill in the blanks with the given words. Are you ready Let's do it. I’m Zoom. Today is my birthday. I’m 6 years old now. I’m so happy today!
