Read the story and catch important elements(reading) 20min Review the story and think about the missing plots that students are going to write 15min Tips 5min Give students 5 minutes to read the passage to answer the 5 items Especially focus on the “emotional changes” and the “theme” After students complete the 6 “R”, show them the cartoon version of the video to help them have a vivid understanding of the story Ask them a series of logical questions to help them to develop the original story Ask students the missing plots and transition according to the first sentences which have been given Introduce three principles of continuation with concrete examples Show them the rest part of the cartoon and notice them to pay attention to the vivid actions Notice them what they can not cover, 4 steps to continue and important vivid verbs they have to use Read the story Think about the questions Discuss answers with the teacher Watch the video Answer the questions quickly Think about the plots under the guidance of the teacher Take notes and interact with the teacher Watch the video carefully Listen carefully Understand the contents and get the main information for the continuation Help them have a vivid understanding of the story, which can activate the interest for the continuation Motivate critical thinking and logical thinking Get key information for continuation Know 3 principles of the continuation Activate the desire to continue Notice students to avoid critical mistakes
