1.paint作动词,意为“涂;绘画”等,常构成短语:paint with,意为“和……一起画画”。例如:
The boy is painting a tiger. 那男孩在画一只老虎。
paint 还可作名词,意为“颜料;涂料;绘画作品”等,是不可数名词。
◎学法指导:当陈述句中没有be动词时,就用助动词do / does放在句首来引导一般疑问句。巧记如下:
陈述变一般,be有将上前;
无它do当先,does表三单,动词要复原;
回答看句首,别忘Yes, No。
“be有将上前”指有be动词时,变一般疑问句就把be动词提到句首。例如:
Yellow is my favourite colour.→Is yellow your favourite colour
“无它do当先,does表三单,动词要复原”是指当陈述句中没有be动词时,就用助动词do放在句首;如果主语是第三人称单数,要用助动词does,后面的动词要使用动词原形。例如:
I like red.→Do you like red
Jenny likes English.→Does Jenny like English
回答看句首,别忘Yes, No”,即一般疑问句作答时,必须用Yes或 No,并且句首是什么动词就用什么来作答。例如:
