了解“巨人的花园”第二部分
The giant saw a most wonderful sight. Birds were flying about and singing, and flowers were peeking up through the green grass. The trees were waving their arms softly in the warm wind.Children were running about and sitting in the branches of the trees. It was a lovely scene.
Then the giant saw that more children were crawling through a hole in the wall. The giant's heart melted. "How selfish I have been!" he said."Now I know why spring would not come here!" The giant made a decision and went out to his garden."I will knock down the wall!" he said to himself.
When the children saw the giant, they were so scared that they all ran away, and the garden turned to winter again.
But one little boy did not run because he did not see the giant coming. He was trying to reach up to the spreading branches of a tree. The giant took him gently in his hand, and put him up into the tree.At once the tree broke out in blossom. The birds came and sang in it.The little boy stretched out with his arms, put them around the giant's neck and kissed him.
When the other children saw the giant was no longer wicked, they came running back.Along with them came the spring."It is your garden now, little children," said the giant as he took his great axe and knocked down the wall.Ever since then, the giant's garden has been a children's playground.

Do you know the story of Snow White Well, she was the prettiest girl in the kingdom!
But a jealous queen wanted to put her in jail to hide her beauty.
So she ran to the forest home of seven little dwarfs, “You’re welcome to hide here at our house!” They all exclaimed.
But the ugly queen found her! She dressed up like an old beggar woman and gave Snow White an enchanted apple. She took one bite and fell into a deep sleep.
The little dwarfs cried because they couldn’t awaken Snow White.
So the dwarfs put her in a glass case and prayed for help.
One day, their prayers were answered when a handsome prince came by and awakened Snow White with a magic kiss. Snow White was so happy, and all the dwarfs yelled “Hooray!” She and the prince got married the very next day.
A swan egg was mixed up with a duck family's eggs and was born as a large duckling. He was unwelcomed by the rest of the small real ducklings and unwelcomed by the near swans. He was very lonely and very sad. He thought he was an abnormal duckling, large and ugly. So he was living on his own. After some time, he grew slowly and changed into a beautiful swan, yet he still didn't know that he was a swan because he couldn't see himself. One day, another swan invited him to come along and play with her. He said to her that he was just an ugly duckling, how could he play with a beautiful swan. But she said: "nonsense, why don't you look at yourself in the water". The Ugly Duckling looked into the water and found that he was really a beautiful swan. He was so happy and join the other swans in the river. He was not lonely anymore and migrated with them the following autumn.
