本节课的成功之处是渗透了爱国教育,使学生明白了要为实现自己的梦想和伟大的中国梦而奋斗。运用了大单元教学,整合了课程资源,丰富了语言学习的情境,激发了学生学习英语的兴趣,锻炼了学生的综合能力。本节课的重点是训练学生的阅读写作能力,通过实践练习来提高学生的阅读写作能力,并掌握一定的技巧和方法。本节课学生基础很好,设计也基本符合学生的思维水平,因此基本达到预期目标。但也存在一些问题。首先,整体理解等存在一定困难,说明平常阅读应更注意此方面培养。其次,一些学生的句子没有注意时态的运用。英语教学作为一门语言的教学,其主要是培养学生的言语技能,即运用语言的能力,其课堂教学具有不同于其他课程课堂教学的特点。因此,在英语阅读中更应该注意培养孩子获取语言信息的能力,同时要注重培养学生语言输出能力,因此,在今后的教学中应该更加注重读写教学。
