要多快，或者要多久时间促成、完成一个动作，通常是对(in+时间)划线进行提问

考点点睛
在英语当中，特殊疑问词的使用，都是遵循一定规则的，比如说第一题，当问一个人，是做什么职业的时候，通常用what来提问，我们可以问，what's your job，而我们也可以说，what are you。这两句话，都是在问你是做什么工作的。咱们要记住。而中学阶段，我们最常见的疑问词，要属5个W1个H了，他们分别是what什么，who谁，where在哪，when何时，why为什么，以及我们的how如何。而这些特殊疑问词，经常会伴随着，用对话，或者对划线部分提问的方式，来考大家，咱们看第二题，How do you go to school every day 当看到对方说，by bus的时候，我们就应该反应过来，他问的是如何到学校的，在问我们方式如何。所以应该用how来提问。
咱们再看两句话，比如说，She is Lily，如果在lily下面划线进行提问，大家就知道，他应该是，who is she.如果是He has a book. 这句话，在book下面划线，那么提问就该是what does he have？这句，He isn't at school today because he is ill.如果对because进行划线，那么问句就该是，Why isn't he at school today 如果这句话We play games at home on Sunday 对at home进行划线，那么问句就该是Where do you play games on Sunday
除此之外，我们说有些特殊疑问词，还会和一些形容词或副词在一起，形成新的问句，比如说how old，这就是在问年龄，how long，就是在问一段时间，或者一个物体的长短。我们看第三题，He has lived here for 3 years.当在 for 3 years下边划线，他的问句就应该是，How long has he lived here？其实很多同学，对how long，how soon，以及how far这三者之间经常搞不清楚，我们说，他们其实很容易区分，首先，how far仅仅指的是问一段路程之间，相距多远，比如，School is five kilometers away from home.学校离家有五公里，当对5公里划线，我们就只能用How far is the school from home 学校离家有多远？
而反观how long通常是对，for加时间划线进行提问，比如He has lived in Beijing for 5 years. 如果在for 5 years下边划线，他就问成How long has he lived in Beijing？最后，咱们看how soon，他指的是“要多快，或者要多久时间完成一个动作。比如说这句话He can finish it in half an hour.他完成这个任务只需要半小时，如果对in half an hour.进行划线，他就只能是How soon can he finish it 他最快什么时候能完成。再看这句He's going to Guangzhou in two days.他将在2天后去广州。如果对划线部分进行的提问，他就是How soon is he going to Guangzhou？他最快什么时候去广州？
