Step 1: Before the story Review key sentences: What would you like I’d like some … in …. Review words of food, learn what a bill is and learn to read the bill. Show pictures of bills. Q: Where is the bill Step 2: In the story Show a special bill. Q: Where is the bill Introduce the story and the title. Q: What do you want to know about the story Enjoy the whole video (1st) and solve some simple confuses. Q1: Who’s in the story Q2: Whose bill is it Q3: Who prints the bill Read the whole story on page 55 circle the food Zip would like. Read picture 1, 2, 3 where several sentences are deleted on PPT and try to complete the conversation by reading pictures carefully. Listen and read picture 1, 2, 3 after the computer. Read picture 1, 2, 3 in pairs and d role play. Guess what Cat says in picture 4 and learn the sentence “Anything else ”. Read conversations in Picture 5 and find out what is missing in the picture. Q: How do you know Read picture 5, 6 and think where the bill is. Q1: Where is the bill in Picture 5 Q2: Where is the bill now Guess what Zip will say in Picture 6. Enjoy the whole video (2nd). Step 3: After the story Role-play (2 levels to choose) Guess the reason why the bill is in the bird’s mouth. (choose several sentences and combine them together or write new reasons) 1. Ss use the key sentences to talk about the food they would like. 2. Ss learn to find the information on the bill such as food, number, price, customer, restaurant, time and so on.
