一、课标关于本节内容的要求
根据新的英语课程标准的要求：“义 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )务教育阶段的英语课程具有工具性和人文性双重性质。就工具性而言，英语课程承担培养学生基本英语素养的任务，即学生通过英语课程掌握基本的英语语言知识，发展基本的英语听说读写技能，形成用英语与他人交流的能力，为今后继续学习英语和用英语学习其他相关科学文化知识奠定基础。”所以我们还要结合语言交际项目，培养学生综合运用宾语从句的能力。要求学生能够听得明白，说得出来，读得懂，写的好宾语从句。我们要避免脱离具体语言环境的，枯燥的，无意义地学习宾语从句。
二、教材分析
新目标英语九年级第3单元以 Cou ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ld you please tell me where the restrooms are 为中心话题，围绕着描述一系列地点展开，学习和运用有礼貌的询问信息的方式，让学生学会准确地描述地理位置、给他人指路或提供帮助。本节课是Section A的第三课时（3a—4c），基于学生在前两个课时的学习情况，学生初步能够运用礼貌的用语问路指路、向他人询问，并初步习得宾语从句，本节课的主要内容为：通过3a（对话）、3b、3c（练习），学生可进一步理解并正确运用宾语从句；通过4a、4b和4c，学生将能够灵活运用多种礼貌用语向他人询问。
三、教学目标
知识与能力:1.根据拼写规则，识记suggest、staff、grape、central、mail、east
六个单词 ；
2.理解3a在游乐场发生的对话，并能进一步理解、运用宾语从句；
3.能熟练运用Could you please…,Do you mind…等多种礼貌用语向
他人询问。
过程与方法：通过role-play，reading，pair work，practicing等多种方法展开
学习活动。
情感态度价值观: 通过学习，学会礼貌待人，文明交往。
教学重点：理解3a在游乐场发生的对话，并能进一步理解、运用宾语从句。
教学难点：能熟练运用could you please…,Do you mind…等多种礼貌用语向他
人询问

宾语从句
定义：在复合句中作主句的宾语。
用法： ①由连接词+ 主语+ 谓语 构成
常由下面的一些连接词引导：
②由that 引导 表示陈述意义 that 可省略
He says (that) he is at home. 他说他在家里。
③由if , whether 引导 表示一般疑问意义(带有是否、已否、对否等)
I don’t know if / whether Wei Hua likes fish. 我不知道韦华是否喜欢鱼。
④由连接代词、连接副词(疑问词) 引导 表示特殊疑问意义
Do you know what he wants to buy 你知道他想要买什么吗？
⑤从句时态要与主句一致：
当主句是一般现在时，从句根据情况使用任何时态，例如：

二、本节教材内容分析。
新目标英语九年级第3单元以 Could y ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ou please tell me where the restrooms are 为中心话题，围绕着描述一系列地点展开，学习和运用有礼貌的询问信息的方式，让学生学会准确地描述地理位置、给他人指路或提供帮助。本课的教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关，易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。在学习活动中，学生通过询问地点位置和方向，促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流。本节课是Section A的第二课时（2a—2d），主要学习内容是：先复习以前学过的问路方式，再学习更有礼貌的问路方式，如：“Do you know where I can…. ”和“Can you tell me where I can… ”等句子。
2a是一个有关问路和指路的听力练习，其中出现 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )了大量有关指路的语言结构。这一活动目的是使学生进一步掌握好本单元的目标语言。在活动设计上，难度不太大，要求学生按照听到的指路句子排序；2b是在2a的基础上，进一步练习本单元的目标语言，目的是检测学生是否真正听懂了对话内容、是否能正确找到对话中谈论的目的地——这是问路成功与否的标志。这一活动为2c编对话练习做了准备；2c要求同学们用所学的有关问路和指路的目标语言进行编对话练习，如果说2a和2b是逐层递进、由浅入深地对学生进行语言输入的话，那么2c就是学生对所学语言的输出。2a，2b，2c 活动都是围绕着书上2a 的图片展开的，建议教师在授课的时候，花一些时间引导学生仔细观察2a的图片，对其中的地点、方位等进行谈论，这样能为后边的活动做一个铺垫。2d是对上述学习的练习与巩固。让学生在设定的情境中灵活运用所学习的句型，巧妙地穿插在实际的生活中。

本节课是一节阅读课，所以我们遵循阅读课的学习策略：
1、扫读（skimming）
即通过对文章标题和首尾句的阅读，对文章的内容结构有一个整体的印象，让学生在短时间内了解作者的意图或文章所要涉及的问题。
2、跳读（scanning）
