1. As a mountain climber, Aron is used to taking risks.
(1) be used to 习惯于……to是介词，其后接名词或动名词短语
e.g. He is used to falling asleep with such noises around him.
他习惯了在噪音中入睡。
(2)risk 既可用作可数名词，也可用作不可数名词，意为“风险、冒险”
take risks 冒险
at the risk of 冒着…...的危险
e.g. To succeed in business, we must be prepared to take risks.
为了生意成功，我们必须准备去冒险。
They got to Wenchuan at the risk of their lives.
他们冒着生命的危险去了汶川。
2. There were many times when Aron almost lost his life because of accidents.
