M:Sadly enough,yes they did.It was a really bad mistake.Many people died as a result of the simple misunderstanding.That’s a powerful lesson on how important it can be to accurately communicate with each other.

Billy looked around the class.“It’s not the dirtiest hand in the class”,he said.
“All right,Billy,”the teacher said.“If you can show me a dirtier hand,I won’t punish you.”
With a smile,Billy quickly showed her his other hand.

“No,sir,” the tailor said.“You may be wearing a Size 14,but your neck is a Size 16.And if you continue to wear a Size 14,sooner or later you’ll get bad pains in the neck.”

The judge listened to Ted’s lawyer’s arguments very carefully.
When Mrs Browning’s lawyer spoke,the judge was very impatient with him.He did not seem to be interested in his arguments.
Finally the judge said,“I don’t think Ted knew the picture was a fake.I think he is an honest man.”
“I don’t understand that judge,” Jack said.
“I told you what I would do,” Ted said.“I sent him an expensive present.”
“And he accepted a bribe!”
“Oh no,” Ted said.“I put Mrs Browning’s name on it.”
