教学目标:
By the end of this period, students will be able to:
1.Gain a deeper understanding of the development of science and technology,and express the overall impact of technological development on human society;
2.Use the language knowledge learned in this unit to describe the changes that technology has brought to life,and predict what changes will happen in life in the next 50 years;
3.Conduct self-reflection,adjust learning strategies and improve learning efficiency.
教学重难点:
Guide students to apply the content learned in this unit, describe the changes brought by technology to human life, and appropriately express their opinions;
Guide students to make reasonable evaluations of their learning behaviour and effectiveness from aspects such as language ability and thinking quality.

Step Ⅰ Lead-in
Watch a video about“Change of Communication Ways”.
Step Ⅱ Preparation
Activity 1 Group work
Work in groups.Look at the pictures and discuss how these objects have changed over the years.
Activity 2 Prediction
Choose one of the objects in Activity 1 or an object that you use every day.Predict how it will further change over the next 50 years.Make notes about your ideas.

Creating a new invention is a highly creative process,and it often typically begins by identifying a common problem in our daily lives that requires a solution.Inspiration can be found in every corner,so it is crucial to keep an open and curious mindset.Once a problem is identified,the next step is to solve it!

Presenting ideas板块要求学生先看图、讨厌这些年来家用电器的变化和发展,然后请学生选择一种在日常生活中常用的电器,预测其在未来50年会发生什么样的变化。本板块旨在通过观点阐述促进学生对所学内容的复习与掌握,并在真实的情境下加以运用和实践。Reflection板块引导学生回顾本单元所学,及时对自己的学习行为和效果做出评估和判断,反思并改进。
