一、语篇研读
What:本课时的教学内容是第二单元的第六课时,主要涉及植物生长的介绍,培养学生热爱大自然,热爱生活。
Why:主要涉及植物生长的介绍,在授课之前先让学生通过网络介绍或者找园艺师了解植物生长的具体过程,课上可以通过让学生小组合作的形式进行相互交流,然后教师通过幻灯片,图片向学生展示植物生长的过程,并让学生用英语教育描述学学种花,学学园艺,热爱生活,热爱大自然
How:为了更好的了解植物,丹尼和他的全班同学做了一个关于农业的报告,我们种了一些种子,在一个小罐里种了一粒,给它浇大量的水,几天后它发芽了不久,长出了茎和叶子,现在茎的顶部长出新的东西,它是一个花苞,它会开,会变成一朵花,之后花就会变成一个头状物,然后头状物就会变成种子。详细介绍了植物生长的过程。
二、教学目标
通过本课的学习,学生能够:
1.掌握并灵活运用本课的重点词汇、短语、句型。
2.掌握语言技能知识,熟练使用所学知识来描述植物的生长过程并了解植物对人类的重要性。
3培养热爱生活,热爱大自然。
三、教学过程
Step1.Warm Up
1.Sing a song “Pretty Little plant”with a video on Page 32.
2.Duty report.Introduce a pot of flower she planted and the students answer the questions asked by the teacher.
【设计意图】:书中单元末的一首歌曲,与本课内容贴切,激发兴趣。值日生报告用实物描述她观察到的植物的生长过程,展示直观,引入课题。
【效果评价】:激发学生的学习兴趣。
Step2.Review and lead in the new lesson.
How to plant a seed:
1. Dig a hole.
2.Put the seed in the hole.
3.Cover the hole with soil.
4.Water the seed every day.
5.Put the seed in the sun.
【设计意图】:以旧带新,顺理成章。
Step3. learn the new words through the pictures and sentences.
【设计意图】:利用图片学习新词,形象生动,为课文学习扫除障碍。
Step 4. Complete the sentences and label (标出)the plant.
【设计意图】:利用书后第二题突出重点,突破难点。
Step5.Fast-reading:Read and write (T) or (F)

Danny planted one seed in a small pot. It sprouted

now. It will turn into a flower. The flower will
become a head, and the head will turn into seeds.
Danny will put the pot in the yard so that it can get some sunshine. He will send some seeds to Li Ming. Now he is going to draw a picture of his plant.
