Why 学生们在社团招新情景中的对话可以帮助学生敢于展示自己的能力与兴趣,缓解学习压力,学生在学习之余可以发展自己的兴趣爱好。与此同时,学校可以促进学生全方面发展,丰富校园文化。
How 学生在社团招新的对话中,以面试官率先询问能力及学生先表达自己对某个俱乐部感兴趣,面试官再询问能力两种形式询问对方的能力与兴趣。掌握表达能力与爱好的主题词汇(sing, swim, dance, draw, play chess 等),和表达自己意愿、询问对方能力及回答的语言表达(“I want to join the art club.” “Can you draw ” “Yes, I can” 等)。对话使用一般现在时表达自己意愿、询问对方能力及回答。

Teaching Difficult Points: To express their ideas correctly using the sentence patterns led by “can” and choose the suitable clubs according to the activities and hobbies.

Lead in First create the situation-"Students Wanted for After-school Clubs" Then,watch a video about clubs and ask if they want join the clubs. 2.Presentation The teacher shows some pictures about abilities and ask them to talk about their abilities and learn new words and new sentence patterns: Can you sing/dance/swim/draw/... Pay attention to the phonetic symbols on the lesson, and clarify the pronunciation pattern of the newly taught vocabulary. 3.Game time. 4.Activity 1a on the English book. To ask students to match the activities with the people. 5.1b:Listening practice. Students underline the key words before listening, then listen and number the conversations[1-3]. 6.Post-listening. Ask them to read the listening material. Then talk about what club they want to join and what they can do. 7.Pairwork. Make a conversation according to the listening. 8.Groupwork.
