教学目标
1. 掌握 Reading中出现的单词、短语和重点句型。
2. 培养学生基本的阅读能力,能根据上下文猜测生词的含义,能理解文章大意。
3. 让学生树立正确的价值观,善待残疾人,善待动物。

1. 培养学生的阅读技巧,提高学生的阅读速度与解题准确率。
2. 能快速寻找文章的主旨句,把握文章的大意。
措施:
读前教师先讲解阅读策略,让学生有章可循,读中教师点拨,读后学生交流找到疑点,最后集体解决问题。
学情分析
大部分学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础,同时也掌握了一点阅读技巧,本节课中的生单词不多,比较好把握文章大意。但是对残疾人的生活,慈善机构和助残犬了解不多。所以在正式讲解文章前,先做好铺垫,让学生对残疾人的生活有一个更好的了解,这样有助于学生们更深入的了解文章,能够准确的捕捉文章的重要信息,同时也能够调动学生的积极性和回答问题的参与性。

话题导入 以导盲犬和做家务狗狗的视频进行话题导入,让学生观看视频并且回答问题 What can the special trained dogs do 特殊训练的狗能做什么? 以轻松幽默的视频导入话题,一方面提高了学生的学习兴趣,另一方面让学生对残疾人和助残犬有一个更好的认识,为将要学习的文章做好铺垫。 插入视频,以一段轻松幽默的视频开始,提高学生的学习兴趣和积极性。将它的照片拖拽出来并且放大,一一展示,从而做到有条不紊,清晰明了。
数字故事学习新单词 以刚才观看的特殊狗狗视频,让学生学习新单词和短语。 通过视频,学生既学习了新单词,同时又对残疾人和助残犬有了进一步的了解,可以帮助学生们更好的学习课文。
精讲点拨,指导阅读,拓展提高 1. Fast-reading:由上面 Lucky的照片引出本文主人公Ben Smith,让学生快速阅读文章,回答两个问题。读前先给学生提示一下 Reading Strategy ( 阅读策略 ) : Remember something important. 记住重点部分。学生阅读完回答问题后,出示文章的开头结尾,让学生关注书写 的 格 式 ,receiver( 收信人 )和 writer(写信人),以及书信的类型是thank-you letter 读前先进行阅读策略的指导,注重培养学生的自主阅读的能力。同时限定时间阅读,培养学生快速阅读的能力。
2.Careful-reading:Read paragraph1, answer two questions. 读第 1段,回答两个问题。让学生知道Ben为什么写信给Miss Li,同时让学生对动物帮助者组织有更好的了解。 Read paragraphs 2, fill in the blanks.读 3段,完成表格。帮学生理清思路,Ben没有 Lucky的生活和有 Lucky 的生活的区别是什么,最后得出总结: Lucky changed Ben’s life. Lucky改变了 Ben的生活,进行升华。 根据段落的难易程度不同,设计不同类型的题目。分层次教学,逐步实现各级目标,让不同层次的学生都有不同的收获。学生热情高涨,积极抢答。
3. After-reading:让学生做四维导图进一步理解文章。让学生利用思维导图复述课文。小组合作制作思维导图。 通过小组合作,让学生自我能力得到提升。
巩固提高 写作练习:通过上一环节的角色扮演引出世界需要被帮助的人群,让学生小组讨论我们可以为他们做什么,然后写到便利贴上。写完之后让学生朗读并展示自己所写的文章。 给出志愿者活动的图片起到了抛砖引玉的作用,学生可以发散思维,通过小组讨论,积极思考可以为需要帮助的人群做什么,同时形成成熟的语句。
情感生化 学生展示完写作之后进行总结提升, If everyone offers a little love to others, the whole world will become more and more beautiful 教育学生不光要善待残疾人,善待小动物,更要善待自己,直视困难,永不放弃。 插入 Nick的视频,学生观看的很认真,教学效果不错。
