考点一 并列连词与并列句
并列句是指含有两个或两个以上的简单句的句子;并列连词用来连接属于同一层次并具有相同句法功能的词、短语或句子。
句法作用 并列连词
表示顺承 和递进 and(和;又),as well as (以及)
not only…but also…(不仅……而且……)
both…and…(……和……都)
neither…nor…(既不……也不……)
表示转折 和对比 but(但是),yet(然而),while(而)
句法作用 并列连词
表示选择 or(或者)
either…or…(或者……或者……)
表示因果 for(因为),so(因此)
其他形式 祈使句+and+简单句(……,就……)
祈使句+or+简单句(……,否则……)
考点二 易错易混的and和or
1.and表示两者皆是,指事物之间的并列;or表示两者只取其一,用于事物间的选择
2.在并列结构中,and一般用于肯定句;or通常用于否定句表示“和;与”之意
He hasn’t got any brothers or sisters.
3.当含有两个否定词的句子实际被看作是肯定结构时,要用and连接;而or连接并列的词组、短语或句子时,表示“或者”
There is no water and no air on the moon.
We can visit the park or travel around the town.
4.祈使句+or(否则)+陈述句,前后是对立关系;
祈使句+and+陈述句,前后是顺承关系
Study hard,or you won’t pass the exam.
Study hard,and you will pass the exam.
