Some adverbs describe the speaker's viewpoint about an action. They do not tell us how an action occurred. They modify entire clauses rather than single verbs, adverbs, or adjectives.
有些副词描述说话者对一个动作的看 法，而不是告诉我们一个行动是怎么发 生的。它们一般位于句首，修饰其后的 整个句子，而不是修饰单个动词、副词 或形容词。这种副词称为“观点副
词” (Adverb of viewpoint)。
Theoretically, the price is supposed to rise. (理论上讲，价格应该要上升。)
Luckily, we were saved by the police. (幸运的是，警察救了我们。)
