认知目标:
1. 能听、说、读、写句子:Before,I was quiet. Now, I`m very active in class.I was short,so I couldn't ride my bike well.Now I go cycling every day.并能在情境中进行运用。
2.能够理解并掌握单词与词组:different,active,go cycling。
3.学会唱歌曲 Changes in me。
4.独立完成Let`s try 部分的练习。
能力目标:
培养学生的听力能力,口头表达能力和歌唱能力。
情感目标:
教育学生要不断学习,追求进步。
教学重难点:
掌握以下句子:Before,I was quiet. Now, I`m very active in class.I was short,so I couldn't ride my bike well.Now I go cycling every day.并能在情境中熟练运用所学对话。
学会在句子表达中混合使用一般现在时和一般过去时。
突破方法 以情景对话,替换关键词操练句子的方式来突破重难点。
五,学情分析:
六年级下学期是小学生在升入初中前的最后一个学期,经过三年多的英语学习,已经具备了一定的语言基础和交际能力,并掌握了一些学习英语的技能。他们富有活力、思维跳跃极强、表现欲强。然而,他们身上也存在着缺点,所学内容因为广泛而掌握得不扎实,读写能力相对于听说还稍逊一筹,个别的学生行为习惯应再加强,鼓励他们在课堂上认真听讲,积极主动的回答老师提出的问题,善于提问。所以在教学中为了促进其在课堂上的耐心,使全体学生参与到教学活动中来,教师要特别采取适合本班学生的评价手段,以便于更好地调动学生的积极性和学习英语的欲望,达到预期的目的。

九,教学步骤:
Warm-up:1.利用课前三分钟,来观看视频初步理解。
2.师生跟着录音唱“Changes in me”.通过这首歌初步理解Mike的变化。

学生独立读题,并做好标记。教师播放Let`s try部分的录音,让学生完成听力练习。教师再次播放录音,师生根据录音核对答案。教师反复播放录音,直到学生能大概复述录音内容。

教师出示一张照片,学生根据Let’s try部分回答问题。
教师出示Let`s talk部分的挂图,让学生根据挂图对比两幅图片中Mike有不同,然后引导学生得出结论,如:
图1:Mike was quiet.
图2:Mike is very active in class.掌握active
教师鼓励学生用英语描述结论,引导学生说:Before, I was quiet. Now, I am very active in class.板书并教读句子。采用替换关键词的方式操练句子,如:
Before, I was fat. Now I am very thin.
...
请学生根据自己的实际情况造句。
2.通过利用ChenJie和John的对比图说Before...Now...的句并掌握different,并看图说句子掌握。
3.T:How many students can ride a bike now 学生纷纷举手并引导学生回答:I can ride a bike now. T:How many students could ride a bike five years ago 少量学生举手并引导他们回答:I couldn’t ride a bike five years ago. T:Why couldn’t you ride a bike at that time 当有学生说到“Because I was short.”时,T:You were short, so you couldn’t ride s bike well.然后引导学生说:I was short, so I couldn’t ride a bike well.板书并教读句子。
教师做骑自行车动作,T:What am I doing S:Riding a bike. T:Yes,we can also say“go cycling”.教读词组:go cycling.领着学生边做动作,边操练词组。
T:Before you were short, so you couldn’t ride a bike .Now, do you go cycling every day 引导学生回答:Yes, I go cycling every day now.
学生带着问题听Let’s talk 部分的录音。第一遍录音,学生看着课文静听,大致了解对话内容,回答问题。

第二遍录音,学生带着如些问题听录音:
How did Mike change
How did John change
学生边听录音,边画出能回答问题的句子或关键词,师生讨论并核对答案。
第三遍录音,学生一边跟读一边支出所读句子。最后学生分别角色朗读对话。
Practice:
T:Talk about your friends or family members. How did they change
学生先以提纲的方式,简短地列出朋友或家人的变化。然后教师进行师范陈述。最后学生之间进行自由练习。可参照如下方式来说:
wasn't tall /is tall
had ... hair/ has ...hair
didn't wear glasses /wears...
didn't like... /likes...
2.How did you change 谈谈你的变化
让学生完成模块儿,谈谈自己的变化,并请学生说一说,并在小组中讨论。
