精讲一：时间状语从句
时间状语从句要遵循“主将从现”的原则，即主句是一般将来时， 从句用一般现在时代替一般将来时。
①He ___________ here next week. (come)
When he ________ here next week, I will tell him the truth.
I’m not sure when he __________ here next week.
②Tina will go to New York as soon as she ___________ the exam. (finish)
Tina went to New York as soon as she __________ the exam.
③I will wait here until he ________ (come).
④After Lucas _________ (brush) his teeth, he will go to bed.
时间状语从句 丛属连词的意义
①As he explored the town, he took a lot of pictures. as:“当……时；一边，随着”
②He has been in Shanghai since he was born. since:“自从……”
③Don’t come in until you are called. until/till:“直到……时”
④Whenever I’m feeling down, my friends will cheer me up. whenever:“无论何时”
⑤While I was watching TV, the bell rang. while:“与……同时； 在……期间”
⑥It was ten years before we met again. before:“在……之前”
⑦Our families took good care of us after we returned. after:“在……之后”
⑧As soon as the party began, my best friend arrived. as soon as:“一……就……”
⑨He was working at the table when I went in. when:“当……时”
精讲二：条件状语从句
条件状语从句依然要遵循“主将从现”的原则，即：主句为祈使句、一般将来时或有情态动词时，从句用一般现在时。 ①if:“如果……” ②unless:“除非，若不”，相当于if…not ③as long as：“只要”
①It __________ tomorrow. (rain)
If it _______ tomorrow, they will cancel the picnic.
If it ______________ tomorrow, they will go on a picnic.
We’re not sure if it ___________ tomorrow.
②Unless it ________, the game will be played.
Don’t come unless I ____________.
③Unless you go at once, you will be late.
=______ you don’t go at once, you will be late.
④We should serve the people ____________ we live.
Anything is possible, ___________ we were together.
精讲三：原因状语从句
引导原因状语从句的从属连词有：because, so，as, since等，表示“因为，由于”。
①I didn’t go surfing ____________ it was too cold.
②I didn’t go to your party because my mother was ill.
=My mother was ill, _______ I didn’t go to your party.
(because与so不能在同一个句子中出现，表示因果关系时只能二选一。)
③________ the car was expensive, we didn’t buy it.
④_________ he was busy, he didn’t come.
⑤Jack was a stranger here, so he asked the police for help.
= __________ Jack was a stranger here, he asked the police for help.
= Jack asked the police for help _________ he was a stranger here.

精讲四：让步状语从句
引导让步状语从句的从属连词有： ①though/although, 表示“虽然，即使”，一般可互换使用； ②even though/even if等，表示“即使，尽管”；

= Tom was sick, but he still went to school.
②Although/Though Mary was a girl, she is not afraid at all.
= Mary was a girl, ________ she is not afraid at all.
③She’s going to have problems in finding a job _________ she gets her level A.

精讲五：目的状语从句
引导目的状语从句的从属连词有：so that, in order that等，表示“以便，为了”。
①He gets up early _________ he can catch the early bus.

精讲六：结果状语从句
引导结果状语从句的从属连词有： so that, so…that，such…that等， 表示“如此……以致于……”。
①Nothing more was heard from him ________ we began to wonder if he was dead.

Farther worked _____ hard _________ we were all worried about him.
