本课是本单元的起始课，为介绍人类的身体和思维提前做好热身准备，起到了激活主题相关背景知识的作用，并为本单元后面的教学内容做了话题、词汇以及思维的铺垫。
教学目标
在本课学习结束时，学生能够：
1. 听取人类生物学相关信息；
2. 简短评述人的身体和大脑能做的事；
3. 讨论关于人的身体和大脑的名言。

教学过程Step 1 Warming up Talk about the things your body and mind are capable of doing.设计意图：引入话题，激活学生已有知识；同时积极引导学生回顾、拓展与话题相关的表达。Step 2 ListeningRead the text builder carefully. Then listen to the dialogue and complete it by underlining the expressions you hear.设计意图：引导学生理解听力信息，完成句子；学生能够获取大致信息和一些细节信息，启发学生发现文本内部结构，为话题输出做好准备。Step 3 SpeakingUse the Text Builder to talk about things the human body or mind is capable of doing.设计意图：帮助学生巩固所学，运用所学表达自己对人的身体和大脑的能力的看法。Step 4 ListeningListen to the dialogue. 1、人的身体，可以被分为：头，颈，躯干，四肢
2，从解剖学上来说，人体共有八大系统：运动系统、神经系统、内分泌系统、血液循环系统、呼吸系统、消化系统、泌尿系统、生殖系统。
3、从人体生理功能来说，人体有以下九大系统组成：运动系统、神经系统、内分泌系统、循环系统、呼吸系统、消化系统、泌尿系统、生殖系统、免疫系统。
3，人的大脑可以被分为52个分区，布罗德曼分区。把更具皮质细胞结构的相似性——细胞的密度、细胞形状、细胞大小等区分为一个区域。
