肯定回答:Yes, it is.
否定回答:No, it isn’t.
解析:
问句是一个一般疑问句,主语是that这个指示代词。在一般疑问句中,如果this或者that作主语,无论this或者that是指人还是物,答句都要用it作答。

回答:He is short. 或 He is tall.
解析:
问句是一个选择疑问句。
在问句中提供两个或两个以上可选答案的问句叫做选择疑问句。
选择疑问句的两种或两种以上的情况用or连接,回答时不能用yes或no,而是根据实际情况选择符合事实的陈述句。
在口语表达时,选择疑问句的语调应是第一个选择项读升调,最后一个选择项读降调。
选择疑问句可以分为一般选择疑问句和特殊选择疑问句两种。

7. 一般选择疑问句
句型结构:
1. 选择疑问句中or所连接的内容一定是并列的,如果or的前面是名词,其后也应该是名词,如果是动词,其后也必须是动词。
2. or 之后如果是单数可数名词,必须要加上冠词。
