(原创)A poet loved his homeland deeply. As an official, he strongly supported fighting against their enemy. However, some other officials are against his suggestion. They tried hard to push him aside. They kept telling the emperor that the poet just hung out in the streets every day and did nothing. He only enjoyed flowers and wrote poems all day long, they said. The poet went back to his hometown in sorrow. He often enjoyed himself in nature to forget about his sad feelings.
One day, the sky was blue and cloudless, the sun was shining, the wind was mild, and the temperature was pleasant after a heavy rain. The poet wanted to relax on such a good day. Then he continued walking.
After walking around at the foot of the hill, he found himself in front of a very large piece of farmland. There was a small village with tens of houses. With green willows (柳树) and red flowers all around, it looked just like the worry-free world in a story.
The poet was very glad and walked up to the village. The villagers warmly welcomed him. They talked with him and prepared delicious meals to treat him. The friendly people and their simple lifestyle moved him very much, so he wrote his poem A Visit to a Village to the West of the Hill.
