阅读习惯介绍
1.先向同桌或同伴介绍个人的阅读习惯:“I like reading very much. Books give me knowledge and new ideas. During the winter holiday, I spent much time reading novels in the library. On weekdays, I read newspapers and magazines for about an hour. At weekends, I spend more time reading. These are my reading habits.”。
2.再询问对方:“What about you Do you often read books What type of book do you like best ”。
3.打开课本,阅读书的问卷调查表,理解调查表中各调查问题的英语表达方式。然后用完整的句子把每道调查的问题准确表达出来。
在询问对方的个人阅读习惯时,可以参考教材中的问卷调查表中的问题来提问。
小组讨论
1.激发自己的思维,思考下列问题:“Do you think reading is important Why or why not ”。
2.增强信息,在课本上的问卷调查表的6个问题的基础上,试着思考自己最想了解的有关阅读习惯的其他信息,补充一些问题,如“Do you like taking notes when reading ”。
3.两人一组,相互交流。
分析范文,完成写作
1.阅读课本的范文,分析范文的结构,结合问卷调查表的内容,明确各段落应表达的主要内容。
2.研究每段中可能会用到的词汇和句型,将需要用的句型和词汇记录在笔记本上。
3.独立完成一篇介绍自己的阅读习惯的短文,完成后小组内交流并评价。
●My friends give me lots of advice on books. 我的朋友给我许多关于书籍方面的建议。
1.advice与suggestion是名词,都表示“建议,意见”。两者的最大区别在于advice是不可数名词,表示“一条建议”用a piece of advice,“一些建议”用some advice;而suggestion则是可数名词,表示“一条建议”用a suggestion,“一些建议”用some suggestions,“许多建议”用many suggestions。advice的动词是advise, suggestion的动词是suggest。
2.about后面所跟的名词的范围比较广;在表示专业的学术性书籍前用on。例如:
He gave us a talk about money.他给我们做了一个关于金钱方面的报告。
This is a book on English.这是一本关于英语方面的书。
