1.be made up of意为“由……组成(构成)”。例如:

【拓展】be made of意为“由……制成”,与介词of连用的制成品能看出原材料;be made from意为“由……制成”,与介词from连用的制成品不能看出原材料;be made in意为“由某地制造”,介词in后接表示地点的名词。例如:
These wine bottles are made of glass. 这些酒瓶是用玻璃做的。
This kind of wine is made from grape. 这种酒是用葡萄做的。
2.introduction在此处是名词,意为“介绍,引进”。其动词形式为introduce,意为“介绍,引进,传入”。例如:
This is my letter of introduction. 这是我的介绍信。
