随人称时间变,to后跟着 。
变否定很简单,be后加 。
变疑问更简单, 提到主语前。
“be going to”表示将要发生的动作,含有“计划, 打算”的意思, 后跟动词原形,常跟表将来的时间连用。

when此处用作连词,意为“当……时”,用来引导时间状语从句。在when引导的时间状语从句中,主句是一般将来时,从句要用一般现在时表示将来。
grow up意为“成长,长大”,grow的过去式是grew。
want to be“想要成为……” ,其后接职业名称。
want to be = be going be
长大以后你想做什么?
practice作动词,表示“(不间断地)练习”,后可用名词作宾语,若跟动词时需用动名词形式。
practice + sth./ doing sth.
e.g. 他总是想跟我练习英语。
He always wants to practice his English with me.
every day意为“每天”,表示频率,在句中作状语,通常位于句末。

4.Wow, now I know why you’re so good at writing stories.
哇,我现在知道为什么你如此擅长写故事啦。
why在此作连词,意为“为什么”。这是一个由why引导的宾语从句,作know的宾语,需用陈述句语序。
be good at“擅长,在……方面成绩好”,at后可接名词、代词或动名词作宾语。
同义词组: do well in 在……方面做得好
e.g.我擅长下象棋。
I am good at playing chess.

keep on意为“反复地做;继续进行”,
keep on doing sth.意为“不断地做某事”。
e.g.她虽疲劳但仍继续工作。
She kept on working, although she was tired.
(1)keep doing sth.意为“一直做某事”。
e.g. 他在那儿一动不动地站了一个小时。
He kept standing there for an hour without moving.
(2)keep sb. doing sth.意为“让某人一直做某事”。
e.g.对不起,让你久等了。
Sorry, I kept you waiting so long.
5. My parents want me to be a doctor, but I’m not sure
about that.
我的父母想让我成为一名医生,但是我对此没有把握。
be sure about“确信,对……有把握”。
常用句型:be sure about sth.“确信某事”
be sure about doing sth.“确信做某事, 对做某事有把握”。
e.g.他确信他们会对这个感兴趣。
He is sure about their interest in it.
be sure的用法:
(1) be sure+of/about+动名词/名词,意为“确信 ……;
对……有把握”。
但在接名词时,be sure of 侧重指主语对某抽象事物
确信无疑;
而 be sure about 则侧重指主语对某具体事物确信无疑。
e.g.他确信会成功的。
He is sure of success.
(2) be sure + that从句,意为“肯定……;有把握……”, 主
句的主语一定是人,可以替换为It is certain + that从句。
e.g.我相信吸烟对你没有好处。
I’m sure that smoking is not good for you.
6. Just make sure you try your best.
只要确保你尽你最大的努力就行。
make sure意为“确保,查明”,其后可跟that(可省略)引导的宾语从句、动词不定式或of短语。
离开前务必将房间打扫干净。
Make sure to clean the room before you leave.
