什么是过去分词?
过去分词是非谓语动词的一种。非谓语动词是一个句子当中的非核心成分,也就是说除了谓语之外什么成分都可以充当。一共有三种形式:不定式(to do)、动名词(doing)、和分词(现在分词doing、过去分词done)。
过去分词的功能是什么?
过去分词表示被动或者完成。
vi.不及物动词只能表示完成;
vt.及物动词可以表示被动和完成。

1. done (表示被动,完成)
2. being done (表示被动,正在进行)
3. to be done (表示被动;将要...)

意义:用来修饰、限定、说明名词或代词的品质与特征的。

一. Past participle as the Attribute过去分词做定语
过去分词作定语时的位置
(1) 前置定语
一般情况下,单个的过去分词作定语时,位于它所修饰的名词或代词_____,即作前置定语。
之前
The cured animals will be released soon.痊愈的动物会很快被释放。
(2) 后置定语
过去分词短语作定语,通常作后置定语,即放在所修饰词之后,它的作用相当于一个定语从句。

单个的过去分词作定语
过去分词短语作定语
单个的过去分词作前置定语,通常放在被修饰的名词之前;过去分词短语作后置定语,通常放在被修饰的名词之后。
(4) 单个分词作后置定语有些过去分词表示特定含义时,单独作定语放在所修饰的名词之后,如left(剩余的), given(所给的), concerned(有关的)等。

(5)修饰特殊词的单个分词做后置定语如果被修饰的词是由every/some/any/no与thing/body/one所构成的复合代词或指示代词those等,单个分词放在被修饰词的后面。
