●教学过程 故事导入: 讨论封面,预测情节 Activity 学生观察封面,自由提问,预测情节。 提问建议: Good morning! Do you like reading stories Today we’ll read an interesting story. What’s the title Look at the cover. What did they do in the trip How did they feel (What/How板贴) What else do you want to know about the story (Who/When/Where板贴) 故事呈现:搭建框架,促进理解 ◎ 初读:带着问题,整体感知 Activity 1 学生带着问题,自主整本默读,查找关键信息。 提问建议: They looked happy, but why the title says “adventure” What happened, can you guess Now let’s do picture reading together and find out the reason: fire! Activity 2 基于整体理解,将文本划分成三部分展开学习。 语言建议: So there was a big forest fire during the trip. What happened before the fire, during the fire and after the fire ◎ 再读:搭建框架,解决难点 Before the Fire Activity 1 图片环游第2~5页,在观察比较中形成框架。 提问建议: When did they set off (start板贴) What did they do 1st, 2nd, what did they do before the trip 复述:So what happened before the fire How did they feel While the Fire Activity 2 图片环游6~11页,在分析推断中厘清思路。 1.学生自主阅读第6页,完成正误判断,检测理解。 提问建议: But on the third day … What was the problem 2 学生给第7~10页的图片排序,厘清思路,理解文本。 提问建议: What happened during the fire Can you order the pictures 3.学生自主默读查找关键信息,教师带领再读检查第7~11页理解情况。 提问建议: Listen!(大火声) How terrible! Especially the mother koala and the baby koala! 复述:So what happened during the forest fire After the Fire Activity 3 图片环游12~19页,在归纳建构中培养思维。 1. 学生看图观察第12页,理解文本,推断与预测。 提问建议: Did they escape the fire But why the girl looked unhappy How did she feel Where would they go 自主阅读第13~17页,词图配对,完成任务。 活动建议: Read and match(小组任务单) Read this part in groups and match the pictures. (took it to the vet; put a bandage on the leg; took it home; drove back to the forest; said goodbye) What did they do after the fire 3.学生聚焦阅读第13~19页,促进文本理解,体会情感。 提问建议: Where were they Who were they How did they feel Where were they (vet-hospital) So they took the koala to the vet. The vet put a bandage on its leg: What is a bandage What’s the meaning of took good care of If you were Dad, what would you say How did the girl feel Happy or sad Why So all the animals were returning to the forest. How did the girl feel Do you like this koala ◎ 三读:原音输入,模仿跟读 Activity 学生听录音并进行指读。 故事升华:复述故事,情感升华 Activity 1 解决一开始提出的“wh-”问题,完善框架。学生根据板书的Mind Map,复述故事。 提问建议: Do you like this story Who were in the story The family took a camping trip, when did the trip start Where was the camping trip Now let’s retell the whole story. Can you retell the story in groups of four One part for each person Activity 2 完善题目,深华情感,引发思考 提问建议: How was their trip Maybe bad, maybe good because they met the cute koala. Can you give it a new title: A/An ________ Camping Trip (unforgettable/special/unusual/impressive) What would you do if you were the girl Would you take the koala home or still take it to the forest Why (It was so cute, I wanted to take it home. But actually koalas are endangered animals/national treasure, and it is not allowed to keep them privately. Besides, they cannot live without the trees. So if you love it, please leave it in the forest. ) So the koala in this story met a forest fire. And actually, the koalas in AUS also suffered a big forest fire last year. Let’s watch a video. The nature is the animals’ home, it’s also our home! Please, do whatever we can to protect the nature, protect our home! 1. 听音频,朗读故事并复述大意。 2. 结合语言框架,写写自己印象深刻的一次业余活动或旅行。 写作指导:1.理清思路,真实表达。在描述自己暑期计划之前,我们可以借助思维导图、表格等形式,把我们头脑中有关暑期的计划都简单罗列出来。这样,既为我们理清了思路,又让我们的作文素材更真实、具体、有特色。 2.适当归类,详略得当。如果计划太多怎么办?同学们,为了避免我们写出的文章太过冗长,我们要对我们的计划进行适当地归类和取舍。突出我们最有特色、最想描述的计划,如旅行, 其余计划我们可以用1-2句话简单概括,如果觉得不必要,有些计划也可以省略。 3.结构完整,条理清晰。在描述我们的暑期计划时,首先我们要注意篇章整体结构的完整性,即有beginning(开头)、body(中间)、ending(结尾)三个部分。开头部分,我们要对整个计划做一个简单的描述,如:I’ll be busy in the summer holiday. 结尾部分,我们可以描述心情或收获,如:I’ll have a wonderful summer holiday. 其次,对于主体部分的描述,我们可以先借助思维导图,理清描述维度,使描述更有条理。最后,我们要注意段落间的衔接。如果描述多种计划,可以用 First, Next, Then...等表示顺序的词衔接,注重条理性。 范文: My summer holiday plans This summer holiday, I will go to Beijing with my family. Beijing is a beautiful city and I 'm excited about it. I will go there by train and stay there for five days. I will do many things there. First, I'll go to the Palace Museum and the Great Wall. They are famous. I will take some photos there. Then I will eat the roast ducks. They look very delicious. At last, I will go to Tian'anmen Square. I think I will have a wonderful summer holiday!
