2. How do you get to school 你怎样到学校
(1) get to : 到达; 抵达 (= arrive in / at)
例：你将什么时候到伦敦？

get 后接 home, here, there等地点副词时，要去掉to。
get home get there get here
(2)how疑问副词，意为“如何；怎样；以何种方式；用什么手段”。本句为how引导的特殊疑问句，用以询问交通方式。
回答方式
take + a/the+表示交通工具的名词
on/in+限定词+表示交通工具的名词
by+表示交通工具的单数名词
某些动词（drive/ride/walk/fly） + to +某地
某些动词（drive/ride/walk/fly） + 冠词/物主代词+交通工具
注意 on foot, by bike, by bus, by subway, by train, by car等词组的名词前不能加任何冠词或其他修饰词。
3. one hundred and five 一百零五
（1）表示具体的“几百”时，用“基数词+hundred”，且hundred为单数形式，如：five hundred 五百。
（2）表示不确定的数字时，常用hundreds of，表示 “数以百计的；成百上千的”。
hundred 作数词，意为“一百”。具体用法为：
我弟弟有两百多本故事书。
My brother has more than two hundred storybooks.
每天有成百上千的游客来这里。
There are hundreds of visitors coming here every day.
拓展：与hundred有类似用法的词还有thousand (千)，million (百万)，billion (十亿)。
4. I ride it to school every day. 我每天骑它去上学。
（1）ride在此处作及物动词，意为“骑”，后面可接bike, horse, motorbike等。
他骑自行车去学校。
He rides a bike to school. =He goes to school by bike.
（2）ride作名词时，指乘车的旅行、旅程，也指骑车旅行、骑马旅行等。
大约5分钟的骑程。It’s about 5 minutes’ ride.
every为形容词，意为“每一；每个”，其后接可数名词单数形式。every day意为“每天”，是一般现在时的时间状语。
辨析：every day 与 everyday
副词短语，“每天”，表示事情发生的频率，在句中作状语。 We go to school at 7:10 every day.
形容词，“每天的；日常的”，在句中作定语。She watches Everyday English on TV after dinner.
5. How far is it from your home to school 从你家到学校有多远？
how far: 多远，用来询问距离或路程的远近。
常用句型：How far is it from A to B / How far is B from A
回答 how far 引导的问句有以下几种形式：
It’s +路程+from A to B. It’s twenty kilometers from my home to my school.
(2) A is+路程+from B. My school is twenty kilometers from the hospital.
(3) It is+时间名词的所有格+walk/ride/drive. It’s about five minutes’ walk.
(4) It’s+时间+by+交通工具. It’s about ten minutes by bus.
6. I’m not sure … about 10 kilometers 我不太确定……大约10千米？
(1)be sure to do sth. 意为“一定要，务必（做某事）”。
sure 相关句型：
Be sure to give your family my regards.务必代我向你的家人问好。
(2)be sure of 意为“有把握……；确信……”。
I’m sure of winning the game.我确信能赢得这场比赛。
(3)make/be sure + that 从句，意为“确信……”，
当从句主语与主句主语一致时，可与“be sure to do sth. ”替换。
I’m sure I’ll help you. I’m sure to help you.我肯定帮你。
7. About 15 minutes by bike. 骑自行车大约15分钟。
by bike 意为“骑自行车”。“by+交通工具”意为“乘/骑某交通工具”。
Lily usually goes to school by bike.莉莉经常骑自行车去上学。
与此用法类似的短语还有：
by bus 乘公共汽车
by plane 乘飞机
by ship 乘轮船
by boat 乘船
by taxi 乘出租车
by train 乘火车
【拓展】表示“乘坐某种交通工具”还可以
用“on / in + 限定词 + 表示交通工具的名词”。
She often goes to school on the school bus.

He sometimes goes to school in his father’s car.

5. How long does it take you to get to school
到学校花费你多长时间？
how long意为“ 多久；多长时间” ，用来询问时间的长短。
