第2课时 Part A Let’s learn & Let’s chant
教学内容
Let’s learn 学生能够听、说、认读单词“cool, cold, hot, warm, weather”。学生能够熟练运用句型“It’s…in…”,来介绍不同地方的天气特征。
Let’s chant 学生能够在图片、动作和音频等的帮助下,理解歌谣中对不同天气特点的描述。
教学目标
(一)语言知识目标
1. 学生能够听、说、认读单词“cool, cold, hot, warm, weather”。
(二)思维能力目标
1. 学生能够在创设的情景中运用新学单词和句型模拟天气预报。
(三)学习能力目标
1. 学生通过pair work等互动活动,学会与他人合作学习的能力。
2. 通过不同的学习任务,学生能有意识地运用所学字、词、句,培养“说英语”的能力。

1. 利用不同的语境,增强文化素养和与他人交往的能力。

1)weather
T: Today let’s talk about weather.
(利用一些插图,来突出weather的含义。同时,展示weather的书写,发音,音标等)
T: In the word weather, ea sounds /e/. With the same sounds in these words. Let’s read them one by one.
(在weather发音中,ea是发/e/,有着相同发音规则的单词,如head, bread, sweater)
T: In the word weather, er sounds / /. With the same sounds, let’s read them.
(在weather发音中,er是发/ /,有着相同发音规则的单词,如father, mother, brother)
warm
T: Look at the weather in Beijing.
T: Beijing is 20 degrees centigrade.
(引入生词degree,同时呈现其发音,书写,音标等)
T: This temperature is very pleasant. It’s warm in Beijing today.
(利用温度和图片,来引出新词warm,并呈现发音,音标和书写。)
3)hot
T: Look at the temperature in Hong Kong.
T: It’s 30 degrees centigrade. Woo. It’s very hot. Just like summer.
(利用温度来呈现生词hot,让学生想象一下炎热的夏天,并带入hot的发音,音标和书写等。)
4)Cold
T: Now let’s come to the northern city Harbin. It’s still cold now.
T: Look at the temperature, it’s 5 degrees centigrade.
(利用图片和温度来呈现cold的意境,白雪冰封的北方城市哈尔滨,引入新词cold,同时,呈现其对应的生词发音,音标和书写等)
5)cool
T: Now let’s move to another city in Western China. It’s Lhasa.
T: It’s not cold or not hot. The temperature is about 15 degrees centigrade.
T: It’s cool in Lhasa today.
(利用温度和图片展示,把学生带到凉爽的拉萨城市,同时,引入新词cool,并展示其对应的发音,音标和书写等。)

T: Look at these four cities, let’s talk about their weather today.
Beijing is 20 degrees centigrade. It’s warm in Beijing today.
Hong Kong is 30 degrees centigrade. It’s hot in Hong Kong today.
Harbin is 5 degrees centigrade. It’s cold in Harbin today.
Lhasa is 15 degrees centigrade. It’s cool in Lhasa today.
(这一环节主要是复习并巩固之前环节的句型和对天气表达的词汇,为接下来的更多操练做更好的铺垫)

T: Pay attention to these words: inside, outside, put on, take off
(学生观看视频材料,并让学生注意其中的生词,老师可以加入一些肢体语言帮助理解,比如put on和take off)
