Some hot comments from art critics(艺术评论家)on the three paintings :)
1. The Starry Night reflectsVan Gogh’s inner emotions and struggles. The moving sky, vibrant colors, and dramatic brushstrokes(笔触效果) come together to convey a sense of chaos(喧闹) and peace at the same time. The stars, the moon, and the cypress tree(柏树) that symbolise spirituality(灵性), loneliness, and his search for peace in the midst of his mental problems.
2. This figure most probably symbolizes an internal state that Munch felt but not so much his external appearance on the bridge with his friends behind him. In other words, the figure becomes a symbol of anxiety or despair.
Some hot comments from art critics(艺术评论家) on the three paintings :)
3. The overwhelming(难以抵挡的/巨大的) darkness and the unease(不安) signal that something bad is about to happen.
The light in the picture represents purity(纯净), and that the wickedness(邪恶)/darkness will be beaten and driven away.
