话题03北京冬奥会
(一)
On the evening of February 4, when the last two torchbearers(火炬手)ran to the center of the Bird’s Nest with the “flying” torch, the whole audience was silent and attracted attention.
The stage appeared slowly and the torch was gently put into the base. At this time, the “flying” began to change into a butterfly, and the crystal clear display screen turned into a “snowflake”, holding the flame(火焰)in the air.
In the history of the Olympic Games, the lighting ways of the main torch have been creative. But the main torch of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games is still displayed in an unexpected way in front of hundreds of millions of audiences around the world--- low fire, screen display and dancing in the air. The intelligent product, independently made by Shenzhen Refresh Intelligent Technology Co. weighs only two grams. It can monitor surface body temperature every three seconds. It has helped provide a safe environment during competitions at the “Ice Cube.”
“As far as we know, there is no smaller thermometer than ours in the global market. Users can hardly feel the thermometer while wearing it,” said Wang Lei, the vice president and marketing director of Refresh.
“The wireless electronic thermometer is very small and comfortable to wear. It also has excellent temperature measurement accuracy (准确性). Our product was chosen because of its higher level of convenience and accuracy, compared with the infrared (红外线的) thermometer, ” Wang said.
The thermometer’s monitoring management system monitors the temperature of each staff and volunteer in real time for 24 hours at the “Ice Cube.” Abnormal body temperature will cause an alarm to work by sending messages to the management workers.
Wang said that the wireless thermometer is mainly developed for family users. For parents who are not with their sick children, they can know of the children’s body temperature changes at any time with the thermometer through the app.
