高考完形填空的体裁;从所给文本的题材上看:涉及到人与自然和人与社会两大话题;从备选项所涉及的词类看:动词(短语)和名词为主,形容词为辅,偶尔考查副词和介词(短语);
1.新高考I卷完形填空文本长度220词左右,设空15个,设空平均间距为13个词左右。首句不设空;
格的答案由空格所在句子提供依据)、句组层次题(空格的答案由与空格所在句相邻的一组句子提供依据)、和语篇层次题(空格的答案由整篇文本的主旨或内涵提供依据);
(改编自2020·全国I卷)Since our twins began learning to walk, my wife and I have kept telling them that our sliding glass door is just a window. The ___41___ is obvious. Maybe it’s an unreasonable fear. But the ___54___ is that I shouldn’t lie to my kids. I should just accept repeatedly having to say, “No. We can’t go outside now.” Then when they come to other doors in life, be they real or metaphorical, they won’t ___55___ to open them and walk through.

Since our twins began learning to walk, my wife and I have kept telling them that our
sliding glass door is just a window.”
Who: our twins, my wife and I
What: began learning to walk, kept telling them that our sliding glass door is just a window(lied to the kids)
【解析】A. relief安慰;B. target目标;C. reason原因,理由;D. case情况。 If we ... it is a door, they’ll want to go outside constantly可知这里作者是在解释把门说成窗户的原因。
42.【答案】A
【解析】A. admit 承认;B. believe相信;C. mean意味着;D. realize意识到。根据上文可知,“我们”对孩子们撒谎说那是窗户而不是门;结合空后的they’ll want to go outside ...
【解析】A. result结果;B. danger危险;C. method方法;D. truth真相。根据下文的But our insisting和what they absolutely know is a door可推知,此处应指孩子们显然知道真相,但是“我们”还一直坚称那只是一扇窗户,故选D。
44.【答案】A
【解析】A. reviewing回顾;B. approving赞成;C. receiving收到;D. attempting尝试。
【解析】A. win out最后获得成功;B. give up放弃;C. wake up开始了解真相;D. stand out突出,出色。
【解析】A. dream梦想;B. lie谎言;C. fantasy幻想;D. fact事实。 I hate lying to the kids.
48.【答案】A
【解析】A. parents父母;B. twins双胞胎;C. colleagues同事;D. teachers老师。根据第一段中的our twins和my wife and I及下文中的damage to our children 可知,此处应指“我”想知道父母是否应总是告诉孩子真相,故选A。
49.【答案】B
【解析】A. demand要求;B. fear担忧,害怕;C. desire欲望;D. doubt怀疑。根据that the lie we’re telling is doing ... damage to our children.和Maybe it’s an unreasonable fear.
【解析】A. by comparison with与……相比;B. in addition to除……之外;C. regardless of不管;D. instead of而不是。根据下文的wonder, “What if it isn’t a door ”和“What if it isn't a opportunity ”可知,此处应指父母向孩子撒谎,很可能使他们在以后的生活中产生疑虑,不去主动开“门”而错失机会,故选D。
52.【答案】B
【解析】A. get hold of抓住;B. stare at凝视;C. knock on敲击(门、窗);D. make use of利用。
53.【答案】A
【解析】A safety rule安全守则;B. comfort zone舒适区;C. bottom line底线;D. top secret绝密的。根据I shouldn’t lie to my kids.
【解析】A. hurry匆忙;B. decide决定;C. hesitate犹豫;D. intend打算。

高考完形填空的体裁;从所给文本的题材上看:涉及到人与自然和人与社会两大话题;从备选项所涉及的词类看:动词(短语)和名词为主,形容词为辅,偶尔考查副词和介词(短语);
1.新高考I卷完形填空文本长度220词左右,设空15个,设空平均间距为13个词左右。首句不设空;
格的答案由空格所在句子提供依据)、句组层次题(空格的答案由与空格所在句相邻的一组句子提供依据)、和语篇层次题(空格的答案由整篇文本的主旨或内涵提供依据);

Since our twins began learning to walk, my wife and I have kept telling them that our
sliding glass door is just a window.”
Who: our twins, my wife and I
What: began learning to walk, kept telling them that our sliding glass door is just a window(lied to the kids)
