基数词
英语中的数词分为基数词和序数词。基数词表示数目,序数词表示顺序,即表示事物顺序的词, 其前常加定冠词the。
英语中,表示数量的词叫基数词。
1.one~twelve(1-12)的拼写和读音各不相同,无规律可循,应逐一记忆。
2.thirteen~nineteen(13-19)表示“十几”,在个位数词后加后缀-teen,读作[ti:n]。还要注意thirteen(13)、fifteen(15)和eighteen(18)在拼写上的差别之处。

3.twenty~ninety(20-90)表示“几十”,
几十的整十位数是在个位数后加后缀-ty,读[ti]。eg:twenty(20), thirty(30), forty(40), fifty(50)...
4.21-29直到91-99表示“几十几”,用整数十位数加个位数,中间用连字符“-”把整十位数和个位数连起来。
eg:twenty-three(23); thirty-seven(37);
forty-five(45); fifty-two(52);
sixty-one(61); seventy-three(73);
eighty-four(84); ninety-nine(99).

拓展1:one hundred“一百”,表示“一百” 也可用a hundred。要表示200-900,用“数词(two至nine)+hundred”构成。在此结构中,无论“几百”,hundred都不能加-s变复数形式。

英语数词不难记,找出规则就容易。
零至十二形各异,一个一个单独记。
后面加teen变十几,thirteen, fifteen看仔细。
eighteen只有一个t,两个音节念清晰。
表示“几十”要加-ty, twenty, thirty 是特例。
表示数字“几十几”,连字符号别忘记。

2. 序数词常用缩写形式,即“阿拉伯数字 + 个位序数词的后两个字母”。如:one → 1st; second→ 2nd; third → 3rd; twelfth → 12th; twenty-sixth → 26th
3. 序数词可表示日期“几月几日”中的“几日”。如: August 17th 8月17日 October 1st 10月1日
