2021年浙江1月卷 读后续写 真题翻译练习
在万圣节刻南瓜是一个家庭传统。
我们每年十月份都会去参观一个当地的农场。
在南瓜地里，我和三个兄弟姐妹比赛，看谁能找到最大的南瓜。
爸爸有个规矩，那就是我们必须自己把南瓜背回家，作为家里最大的孩子，我占了优势——去年我背了一个85磅的南瓜回家。
今年，我的南瓜和14岁的弟弟杰森选的南瓜哪个更大，这还真说不好。
遗憾的是，我们在掏空它们之前忘了称重量，但我下定决心要证明我的南瓜才是最大的。
全家人都埋头在餐桌前工作，妈妈则在一旁拍摄这个一年一度的活动。
我现在也不明白，当时我怎么会以为把头伸进南瓜里就能解决问题，但当时这似乎是个
完美的主意。
南瓜放在桌上，开口朝上，我弯下腰，把头对着开口挤了进去。
一开始，我的眼睛上方卡住了，但我不想放弃，于是继续往里挤，结果鼻子又挡住了去路。
最后，我终于像软木塞被硬挤进瓶子一样，把整个头都挤了进去。
我站起来时，巨大的南瓜就压在我的肩膀上。
我的兴奋劲儿没持续多久。南瓜太重了。
“我现在要把它放下来。”我说着，在杰森的帮助下，我弯下腰让南瓜有个地方放。
可就在我试图把头拔出来时，才发现出来比进去要难得多。
我使劲一拉，鼻子又挡住了去路。
我使劲压在桌上，转着头找角度，却一点用也没有，我慌了起来。
“我出不去了！”我在这个密闭的空间里大声喊道，声音听起来有些异样。

可就在我试图把头拔出来时，才发现出来比进去要难得多。 But as I tried to pull my head out, I realized it was much harder to get out than it was to get in.
我使劲一拉，鼻子又挡住了去路。 When I pulled hard, my nose got in the way again.
