教学内容
Important points: Key words and phrases: matter, foot, stomach, throat, neck, stomachache, toothache, headache, fever, sore, hurt, rest; have a cold/fever/cough, have a toothache/stomachache/headache, have a sore throat/back, lie down, get an X-ray, take one’s temperature, take breaks, go to a doctor Key sentences: ─What’s the matter with Judy. ─She has a very sore throat now. ─What should I do ─You should lie down and rest. Should I take my temperature You need to take breaks away from the computer. Difficult points: Describe the health problems with have/has. Understand the usage of should/shouldn’t by giving advice.
教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up Enjoy a song and do as the children do. Arouse students’ interest and get to know some of the body parts. Step 2 Pre-listening Look at the picture. Write the correct letter [a-m] for each part of the body. Step 3 While-listening Listen to the conversation and fill in the blanks. Listen and number the pictures [1-5] in the order you hear them. Learn to talk about health problems. Listen again. Match the problems with the advice. Learn to give advice about health problems. Listen to the conversation and answer the questions. Step 4 Post-listening Make conversations using the information in 1b. Make conversations using the information in 2a and 2b. Role play the conversation. Fill in the blanks and retell 2d. Step 5 Summary Step 6 Homework Choose one of the two tasks. Make a conversation about health problems and giving advice. Covid-19 ravages(肆虐) the world. What should we do to avoid infection(避免感染) Please write a report about it.(共36张PPT)
