It may be hard to believe that there are about 70 tribes(部落) living in the Amazon rainforest. These people have no electricity， live in grass houses， catch animals and have little contact(联系) with the outside world.
Now one of those tribes has contacted with modern society for the first time， but it is a bad thing. The tribe moved to a small Brazilian town near the Upper Envira River because too many trees had been cut down. Cutting down trees and carrying the trees from a protected area drove away the animals that the tribe depended on for food. The tribe had to travel east and ended up far away from home in Brazil.
Anthropologists(人类学家) have been concerned about the tribe since they have come into contact with people who aren't a part of their tribe. It might be bad for them. In the past， similar tribes who came into contact with the outside world were easily killed by illnesses because their bodies never met those illnesses before.
Things are bad for the other tribes in Peru. The Peruvian government has recently decided on an oil project that would allow three companies to find oil with the help of hundreds of workers.
