一、教学内容
人教版七年级下册第七单元It’s raining Section B 1a-1e
二、教学目标
1、 掌握描述天气的词汇(cold, cool, warm, hot, dry);掌握询问天气的句型(How’s the weather )、询问近况的句型(How’s it going )、询问活动的句型(What are you doing )。
2、能听懂有关天气、近况、活动的对话,并表达自己的情况。
3、通过同桌对话、小组情景活动,培养合作意识。通过翻翻卡、连线、分类等小游戏,提高英语学习兴趣。
三、教学重、难点
1、教学重点:识记描述天气的单词,掌握基本句型。
2、教学难点:区分对天气、近况、活动的提问。
四、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
环节目标:Watch a video to improve the students’ interests and help the students review the vocabulary related to the topic.观看视频,激发兴趣,激活已知。
教学内容:Watch a video, answer the following questions:
① How is it going with Jason
② How is the weather in Beijing
③ What is Jason doing now 通过全班作答,及时了解学生视频内容掌握情况。
媒体作用及设计意图:运用多媒体播放视频,激发学生学习兴趣,引入新课。使用智慧课堂“全班作答”功能,让学生根据视频内容完成三个选择题。教师可快速了解学生作答情况及每道题目正确率。
Step 2 Pre-listening
环节目标:Get students’ attention about the new words.识记新单词。
教学内容:① Show pictures to learn new words(cold, cool, warm, hot, dry);通过展示不同的天气图片帮助学生掌握新单词(cold, cool, warm, hot, dry)。
② Do activities to review the new words 通过“翻翻卡”课堂活动,帮助学生识记新单词。
媒体作用及设计意图:运用智慧课堂“翻翻卡”活动,将单词、图片置于同一卡片正、反面,便于学生通过图片识记新单词。
Step 3 While-listening
环节目标:① Help students know some information about Mary and Eric.帮助学生了解一些Mary and Eric的相关信息。
② Teacher leads students to listen to the dialogue between Mary and Eric.教师带领学生进一步了解Mary and Eric的近况、活动等信息。
教学内容:① Teacher leads students to listen to the dialogue between Mary and Eric to get the information about how is it going.教师引导学生通过听对话,了解Mary and Eric一部分信息。
② Students listen to the dialogue, check their prediction and take notes of the detailed information. Help students get more information about Mary and Eric.教师引导学生通过再次听对话,了解Mary and Eric的更多信息,并整合所有信息。
媒体作用及设计意图:运用多媒体播放音频,并用智慧课堂“全班作答”中的“批注”和“拍照”功能,分别将听力活动上传。教师可清晰地看到学生作答情况。同时让学生记录重点句型,笔记可保存,便于学生复习。
Step 4 Post-listening
环节目标:Help students role-play the dialogue with the help of the notes.情景对话,输出所学。
教学内容:① The Teacher leads students to retell the dialogue and use activities to help students master the key words.教师引导学生复述对话,内化语言。
② Teacher introduces the Eric’s birthday to students and leads students to give a speech about it which is another form of retelling the dialogue. Teacher then lead students to evaluate each others’ work. Students give a speech about Eric’s birthday with the help of their note.教师介绍输出活动,为学生设置转述情境;学生根据情境完成课堂转述。
媒体作用及设计意图:创造语境,让学生用所学句型进行对话编排。运用智慧课堂“抢答”功能,调动学生积极性,利于学生主动参与口语活动、练习句型。
Step 5 Summary
环节目标:Help students review what learned today.思维导图,回忆所学。
教学内容:① The Teacher uses mind map to help students review the key content.教师利用思维导图帮助学生总结本节课重点内容。
② The Teacher uses activities to help students review the key words and sentences.利用课堂分类活动,再次帮助学生回忆重难点内容。
媒体作用及设计意图:总结新单词、句型。运用智慧课堂“分类”活动,把询问和回答天气、近况、活动的句子分门别类,利于学生区分各个句型。布置作业,课后再次巩固单词、句型。
Step 6 Homework
① 抄写新单词
② 编一段和最好朋友的对话,询问天气、近况、活动。
