My changes
I'm in Grade 9 and I have changed a lot.
First, I used to be thin(used to do sth.过去常常做某事), but now I am a little fatter. I used to have curly hair, but now I have short and straight hair, because I am busy with (be busy with sth忙于某事)my study. Second, I have made much progress in(make progress in...在......取得进步) English. I used to be weak in(be weak in...不擅于......) it. But with my English teacher’s help(with one’s help在某人的帮助下), now I often get good scores(分数) on my English exams. What's more(更重要的是),I'm more outgoing than I used to be. I used to be afraid of(be afraid of害怕) speaking in front of(in front of...在......前面) people. But now I can give a speech in public(in public公开地). I've also made many friends.

How I've Changed!
My life has changed a lot in the last few years.
The biggest change in my life is that I'm becoming interested in reading. I hated reading in the past(在过去), but I have fallen in love with(爱上) it now. Last year my best friend Lily gave me an interesting novel(小说) as a birthday present. I enjoyed it so much that I started to read other books.
