教学目标
1.语言技能:
(1)能够听懂、会说、认读、默写五个表示“地点”的词汇:science museum, post office, bookstore, cinema, hospital, pet hospital.
(2)能够正确使用句型“Where is the …? It’s next to / near the …”询问与答复有关地点所在的方位。
(3)能够制作一张地图,并根据地图内容进行有关地点的询问与答复。
2.语言知识:
(1)能够理解和运用有关“地点问答”的语言表达形式“Where is the …? It’s next to / near the …”。
(2)能够根据单词的音、义、形,拆分单词的方式来记忆词汇。
3.情感态度、学习策略与文化意识:
(1)在学习的过程中,能够做到乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语。
(2)在课堂交流中,遇到问题主动向老师或同学请教。

Step 1:warm-up
1.Greeting.师生用英语互相问候。
2.Review the text on Page 4 by asking and answering the questions.通过问答方式复习课本第4页的内容,每题一分。

Q 2:Where is the museum shop?
Q 3:What does Yifan want to buy?
Q 4:Where is the post office?
A 1:They are in the museum.
A 2:It’s near the door.
A 3:He wants to buy a postcard.

3.Bingo or No.(答对了,答错了。)教师点击课件,出示课本第4页的“单词图片”,与学生玩一个游戏,教师根据图片进行提问Is there a…?如果图片中有教师提到的这个单词,那么学生拍掌一次并快速说出Bingo,如果图片中没有教师教师提到的这个单词,那么学生要摇头,并快速说出No, there isn’t.
【设计意图】通过游戏吸引学生的注意力,并通过这个游戏引出本节课所要新授的单词science museum。
Step 2:Presentation
1.Lead-in
(1)Look at the map and then ask and answer.教师创设情境,师生根据课件中的“地图”,进行问答活动。教师告诉学生,有三位来自英国的小朋友将要参观我们的城市(city),我们需要向他们介绍我们学校附近的几大建筑物science museum, post office, bookstore, cinema, hospital, pet hospital。在他们到来之前,我们必须组织好参观路线,做好“向导”的准备工作!
教师出示课件中的地图,以学校(school)为出发地点,引导学生逐一认识学校附近的几大建筑物。
T :Look at the map! What’s this?(教师指着地图中的“邮局”进行提问。)
Ss:It’s a post office.
T :Yes, we can send a postcard in the _______________.(引导学生再次巩固post office。) And what can you see in the picture?
Ss:Many books.
T :Great! We can buy some books in the _______________.(引导学生再次巩固bookstore。)
We can say a bookstore is a bookshop.(store = shop 商店)If we want to see some robots, where can we go? A bookstore or a science museum?(通过选择的方式,让学生学习新词汇。)
Ss:A science museum.(教师引导学生认读单词,并尝试记忆。)
T :Great! What’s this?(教师出示医院的图片,学生尝试回答问题,如果学生无法正确回答问题,那么教师引导学生通过单词的发音规则来学习该词汇ho-s-pi-tal。)

2.Look, ask and answer. 学生观看地图,教师根据地图内容进行提问,学生回答问题。
