（3）能够制作一张地图，并根据地图内容进行有关地点的询问与答复。

（1）能够理解和运用有关“地点问答”的语言表达形式“Where is the …? It’s next to / near the …”。
（2）能够根据单词的音、义、形，拆分单词的方式来记忆词汇。

Step 1：warm-up
1．Greeting.师生用英语互相问候。
2．Review the text on Page 4 by asking and answering the questions.通过问答方式复习课本第4页的内容，每题一分。

3．Bingo or No.（答对了，答错了。）教师点击课件，出示课本第4页的“单词图片”，与学生玩一个游戏，教师根据图片进行提问Is there a…?如果图片中有教师提到的这个单词，那么学生拍掌一次并快速说出Bingo，如果图片中没有教师教师提到的这个单词，那么学生要摇头，并快速说出No, there isn’t.
【设计意图】通过游戏吸引学生的注意力，并通过这个游戏引出本节课所要新授的单词science museum。
Step 2：Presentation
1．Lead-in
（1）Look at the map and then ask and answer.教师创设情境，师生根据课件中的“地图”，进行问答活动。教师告诉学生，有三位来自英国的小朋友将要参观我们的城市（city），我们需要向他们介绍我们学校附近的几大建筑物science museum, post office, bookstore, cinema, hospital, pet hospital。在他们到来之前，我们必须组织好参观路线，做好“向导”的准备工作！
教师出示课件中的地图，以学校（school）为出发地点，引导学生逐一认识学校附近的几大建筑物。
T ：Look at the map! What’s this?（教师指着地图中的“邮局”进行提问。）
Ss：It’s a post office.
T ：Yes, we can send a postcard in the _______________.（引导学生再次巩固post office。） And what can you see in the picture?
Ss：Many books.
T ：Great! We can buy some books in the _______________.（引导学生再次巩固bookstore。）
We can say a bookstore is a bookshop.（store = shop 商店）If we want to see some robots, where can we go? A bookstore or a science museum?（通过选择的方式，让学生学习新词汇。）
Ss：A science museum.（教师引导学生认读单词，并尝试记忆。）
T ：Great! What’s this?（教师出示医院的图片，学生尝试回答问题，如果学生无法正确回答问题，那么教师引导学生通过单词的发音规则来学习该词汇ho-s-pi-tal。）
Ss：It’s a hospital.
T ：Yes, go to the _______________, see a doctor.（引导学生再次巩固hospital。）If your cat is ill, go to the _______ _____________.（引导学生学习 pet hospital宠物医院。）If we want to see a film, go to the cinema. Look, this is a cinema.
【设计意图】通过多种方式来学习与记忆词汇，尽量使学生不要感觉太枯燥。

1．Watch and follow.教师播放视频，学生观看视频并跟读句型与单词。
2．Look, ask and answer. 学生观看地图，教师根据地图内容进行提问，学生回答问题。
