教材分析
本课是本单元的起始课，起到了激活主题“环保”相关背景知识的作用，并为本单元后面的教学内容做了话题、词汇以及思维的铺垫，启发学生思考，属于“人与自然”主题语境下的“环境保护”主题群。第一个听力材料介绍了环保的重要性及如何进行环保的一些措施；第二个听力材料以犀牛为例介绍了保护濒危动物的必要性和紧迫性；最后是几则关于环保的著名引言。
教学目标
在本课学习结束时，学生能够：用所学知识谈论对环保的认识及如何在环保事业中做出自己应有的贡献。
教学重难点
【教学重点】
1. 能够谈论对于环保的认识以及如何保护环境。
2. 能够了解如何保护濒危动物，并对环保的名言名句进行讨论，发表不同看法。
