Every year, the Rube Goldberg competition considers inventions made from everyday items. They use complex systems to carry out a 21 task, like opening an umbrella or watering a plant. It is boring to stay in hospital. Since childhood Kevin Gatlin has been bored by the 36 environments of hospital rooms so he came up with a simple solution to make sure that children were never forced to 37 the same boredom.

In the food industry, it seems, the robot revolution is well underway, with machines mastering skilled tasks that have always been performed by people.
