3.结尾-对寓言故事所揭示的道理谈谈自己的看法并进行客观公正的评论;或对作者的写作手法,文中主人公的命运或性格特征作评论,也可以是自己阅读之后学到的道理。

根据本文的小故事The stone in the road,写一篇评论。
注意:1.词数80左右;2.可以适当增加细节,以使行文连贯。
“The Stone in the Road” is an old fable about a king who thinks his people are lazy, so he puts a large stone (在……中间) the road and hides and (等待去看) if anyone will try to move it.
The author used this story to impress on readers the need to take personal responsibility for problems. The story was quite successful in achieving its purpose, and I liked it (因为) it had a clear moral.
However, while the moral of the story is clear, the actions of the king seemed pointless to me, because none of the characters in the story learned anything. For this reason, I think there are better stories that can (被用来) impress on people the need for (个人的责任).Unit 1 Reading for Writing导学案

The author used this story to impress on readers the need to take personal responsibility for problems. The story was quite successful in achieving its purpose, and I liked it because (因为) it had a clear moral.
However, while the moral of the story is clear, the actions of the king seemed pointless to me, because none of the characters in the story learned anything. For this reason, I think there are better stories that can be used to (被用来) impress on people the need for personal responsibility (个人的责任).
