1) so … that,“如此、以至于”,引导的结果状语从向,陈述的是客观事实,
句型: … so+ adj /adv .+that …
2) so that,“为了、以便”,引导的目的状语从句,表示动机(即一种可能性),而非事实, 相当于in order that, 从句中多含有can, could, may, might等情态动词。

until引导的从句,用于肯定句中,意为“直到……为止”,主句谓语动词须用延续性动词;
until 用于否定句中,意为“直到……才”,主句谓语动词通常用非延续性动词,也可用是延续性动词。
主句用一般将来时,从句用一般现在时。

Summary
until引导的时间状语从句
主句是肯定句时,其谓语用延续性动词,强调主句的动作或状态一直持续到从句的动作发生时为止,译成“直到……为止”。
主句是否定句时,其谓语用非延续性动词,强调主句的动作在从句的动作发生之后才开始,一般译成“直到……才……”。
so that引导的目的状语从句
so that意为“为了,以便”,引导目的状语从句,相当于in order that,从句中多含有can, could, may, might等情态动词。
although引导的让步状语从句
although意为“尽管;然而”,引导让步状语从句,相当于though。although或though不能与but用在同一个句子中,但可以与yet, still同时使用。

find sb. doing sth. 意为“发现某人正在做某事”, 表示动作正在进行,doing sth. 作宾语补足语。
eg:I find the girls dancing under the tree.我发现女孩们在树下跳舞。
eg:I find him enter the building. 我发现他进了大楼。
【拓展】find sb. do sth.“发现某人做过某事”,强调发现动作经常发生或发现动作的全过程。
look through “翻阅;浏览;审核”
Point
1. Well, I found my sister looking through my things yesterday. (教材P26 2d)
look through意为“翻阅;浏览;审核”,为“动词+介词”类短语,后面接物。
eg:Well, I found my sister looking through my things yesterday.
哦,昨天我发现我妹妹在翻 阅我的东西。
It's a good habit to look through newspapers every day.
每天浏览报纸是个好习惯。
work out “成功地发展”

eg:Everything is working out well. 一切进展顺利。
eg:Xiong'an New Area will help to work out many big problems of Beijing, such as traffic jams. 雄安新区将帮助解决北京的许多大问题,比如交通堵塞。
(1) work out在此处意为“成功地发展”,相当于不及物动词,其后可接 fine, well, badly等词,表明结果如何。
(2)work out还可意为“解决;算出”,此时为“动词+副词”型短语,代词作宾语时,要放在work与out之间。

ruturn在此处作及物动词,意为“归还”,相当于give sth. back。ruturn sth. to sb. = return sb. sth., 意为“把某物还给某人”。
afraid adj. 害怕;畏惧

afraid在句中一般作表语,不作定语,其主要用法有:be afraid of sb./sth. 害怕某人/某物;be afraid of doing sth. 害怕做某事 (强调担心会发生, 但实际未必发生);be afraid to do sth. 不敢做某事 (强调不敢去做某事);be afraid+ that从句 担心……
eg:Never be afraid of difficulties and never give up hope.
