四、学情分析:
学生是五年级的学生,已经具备了一定的英语基础。他们对身边的事物和家庭成员有一定了解,对于过去和现在的状态也有一定的认识。同时,学生的注意力比较容易分散,需要通过生动有趣的教学方法和教具来吸引学生的注意力,激发他们的学习兴趣。
五、教学过程
Step 1: Warming up
1. Greet the students and review the previous lesson briefly.
Teacher: Good morning, class! How are you today
Students: Good morning, teacher! We're good.
Teacher: Great! In our last lesson, we talked about different hobbies. Can anyone tell me one hobby we discussed
2. Introduce the topic of the new lesson.
Teacher: Today, we are going to talk about someone's learning experience. Can you guess who it is (Show pictures of different family members)
Students: It's a family member!
Step 2: Presentation
1. Show pictures of different family members and elicit their names from the students.
Teacher: Look at these pictures. Who is this (Show a picture of grandma)
Students: That's grandma!
Teacher: Great! What's her name
Students: Her name is Grandma.
2. Introduce the sentence pattern: "Did your grandma learn English "
Teacher: Now, let's learn a new sentence pattern. Repeat after me: "Did your grandma learn English "
Students: (Repeat) "Did your grandma learn English "
Teacher: Excellent! This sentence is used to ask about someone's past learning experience.
3. Present the new vocabulary words: learnt, foreign language, taught, dancer, wrote.
