教学内容
教学重点： Learn and master how to make inferences using “must”, “might”, “could” and “can’t” . Learn to talk about mysteries and improve students ’ ability of listening and speaking. 教学难点： Enable students to talk about mysteries using “must”, “might”, “could” and “can’t” .

Step 1 Free talk 1. Have you heard about a UFO 2. What do you think of it 3. What is usually in a UFO 设计意图：通过以上三个问题，引导学生思考：在我们生活中出现外星人，可能会发生什 么情况。 Step 2 Prediction 1. What’s happening A UFO could be landing on the earth. 2. Who are they And what’s happening to them The alien could be running after the man. 3. What’s the man doing Why does he wear a suit 设计意图：通过观察课本上的三幅图片，推测正在发生的事情，激发学生的学习热情并引 导学生积极探索“外星人事件 ”。 Step 3 Pre-listening 1. Look at the pictures.
