教学过程
Step 1 Warming Up 1. I am very happy today…, … 2. Answer: What about you 3. Pair work: What can make you happy 谈话导入,轻松活波。回答问题,引发学生对快乐观的第一次思考。 Step 2 Pre-reading (通过谈论快乐观引入新单词) 1. Learn some new words of this article: wealth, fame, power, prime minister, top general, … 2. Answer: Is being a king happy Do you want to be a king
设计意图: 解决单词问题,为阅读做好铺垫 。 回答问题导入课题。 Step 3 While-reading 1. Read quickly and circle the answers. How many characters are mentioned in the story Who are they 设计意图:速读,渗透阅读策略。 2. Read carefully and answer the questions. What was wrong with the king How did the queen feel What did the doctor say Do you agree with the doctor 设计意图:细读,渗透阅读策略。 3. Read carefully and fill in the chart. Check the answers. 3. Answer more questions. What was the top general asked to do Think: Could the top general find a happy man Why Why not 设计意图:细读,渗透阅读策略 。思考结尾,给出答案。 Step 4 Post- reading 1. What do you want to say to the king to make him happy 设计意图:思考什么能给人带来快乐,寻找真正的的快乐观。 2.
