1. be used to
be used to (doing) sth. 意为“习惯/适应某事”,相当于get used to (doing) sth.
例:
He can’t be used to the weather here.
他不习惯于这的天气。
【辨析】used to do sth. “过去常常做某事”
He used to go to school on foot.他以前经常步行上学。
2. either
either(也)通常只用于否定句,且要放在句末.
例:
I don’t know,either.我也不知道.
【辨析】also ,too
too多用于口语中,语气较轻,通常用于肯定句或疑问句,一般不用于否定句,且通常放在句末.also一般也
不用于否定句,它在句中的位置通常是紧靠动词,即放在行为动词之前,特殊动词之后.
如:I like you too [as well].我也喜欢你.
He also came.他也来了.
3. accept
1、accept 相当于汉语的“接受”,即主动地或自愿地接受并收为己有,也就是又收又受。
2、receive相当于汉语的“接收”,即仅仅表示接到或收到,而不含采取主动或积极行动收为己有,也就是只收不受。
从下面的例句中可以看出二者的区别:
He received a watch of a famous brand from his friend and accepted it.
昨天他收到朋友寄来的一直名表并收下了它。
4. 同级比较定义
1.“A+v.+as+形容词原级/副词原级+as B”表示“A和B程度相同”。
例:Lucy is as old as Kate.
露西和凯特的年龄一样大。
  Tom runs as fast as Mike.
  汤姆和迈克跑得一样快。
2.not as/so…as…意为“不如……,和……不一样……”。【注意】not as/so…as…中间用形容词或副词的原级。
例:I’m not tall as you. 我没有你高。
