This school year has brought about a lot of changes and has required much adaptation, but one change that has been powerful across school sites is the technological knowledge that has been a necessity to spend a difficult teaching year. There are some web-based tools that support learning.
Blooket
Blooket is a tool that involves students in content review and provides nine game modes(模式)for the question sets. It's not just a "select the right answer" mode. With every correct answer, students can become collectors of gold, defenders of towers, workers in a factory, or runners on a track. The experience starts with educators creating their own question sets, or choosing from the Discover page.
Wizer
Wizer is an online platform that gives educators the opportunity to create interactive and customizable worksheets that promote learning. Educators can include audio directions, images, and many different types of materials to personalize the experience based on the content and student needs. Once a worksheet is created, educators can easily assign(分配)it to their students.
Buncee
Buncee is a web-based tool for creating interactive multimedia presentations. Educators can combine content from both external and internal sources. Buncee boards are a great way to make students' ideas grow. Buncee helps educators and administrators create projects and presentations to increase interactivity and students' learning interest.
Mote
Mote is a Chrome extension(扩展)that works with Google Workspace. Teachers can leave voice comments via Google Classroom, Docs, Slides, or Sheets by clicking the symbol of Mote under the comments section. Students love hearing their teachers' voices and feel connected to their teachers. Mote lets teachers monitor students' involvement in voice notes, and can even translate notes into multiple languages.
21. What do we know about Blooket
A. Educators have to set questions by themselves.
B. Students choose the right answers after outdoor training.
C. Educators encourage students to develop their acting skills.
D. Students can learn through experiencing different game roles.
22. What do Wizer and Buncee have in common
A. They can grade students' performance.
B. They involve educators in deep discussions.

The Gold Coast teenager Sam Richards founded his drinkware(杯子)business Bellaforte at 13, producing high-quality reusable and recyclable drinkware.
Sam said one day while delivering drinks to his parents at their backyard pool, he dropped them and broke them all. That was a big disaster. He searched the Internet for crystal-like plastic replacements but couldn't find anything. That got him thinking he should create some unbreakable plastic cups that look great and can be used by the pool.
After sourcing products and producers, Sam began selling his "beautiful plastic cups" in November, 2019 through Amazon Marketplace. Struggling to balance the demands of school and his company, Sam recently sold the business to Una Brands for $1million after tough negotiations(谈判), according to Yenti Kushor, a manager of Una Brands. "Sam drove a hard bargain. He knew what he wanted," Kushor said. "It was clear that he did his research and had the numbers to back it up. He didn't give up until we met his number. He's a real inspiration to us and we see huge growth potential(潜力)in Bellaforte."
"It all started when I went to an Amazon conference at 10 years old to learn how to start up an Amazon business," Sam wrote on his website. "Do simple things well. Do your research and stick to it," he advised. "90% of people are too scared to take the first step. Don't let other people who don't believe in you drag you down."
His parents, also businessmen, had offered advice and guidance throughout Sam's building of his business. "We don't have high expectations," his father Phil Richards said. "We're just happy if he goes to school and has brushed his hair." Sam aims to go to university and major in business and marketing while thinking up new business ideas.
24. How did the incident by the pool influence Sam
A. It gave him an inventive idea.
B. It changed his attitude to the Internet.
C. It made him care more about the environment.
D. It encouraged him to learn more about Amazon.
25. Why did Sam sell his business to Una Brands
A. To introduce new technology.
B. To acquire more market shares.
C. To solve his company's financial problems.
D. To focus his attention on his studies.
26. What kind of person is Sam according to Kushor's words
A. Generous and creative. B. Courageous and gentle.
C. Thoughtful and determined. D. Humorous and knowledgeable.
27. What advice did Sam give on his website

We all know that a powerful body posture(姿势)may help people feel more confident. But will it work on students A new study by researchers from the Martin Luther University(MLU)of Halle-Wittenberg is carried out to find the connection. And it does provide evidence that simple body postures can help students feel better in school.
Some body postures don't need further explanation. When a man sits with his arms crossed behind his head, resting his feet on a table, he is probably feeling very self-confident. Arms folded in front of one's body and a bent back, on the other hand, typically mean anxiety and insecurity(不安全感). "Body language is not just about expressing feelings, it can also have a great influence on how a person feels," explains Robert K rner from the Institute of Psychology at MLU.
Research on powerful body postures tries to find out the extent to which a certain body posture might influence a person's feelings and self-confidence. Up to now, most of the research has been about studying the effects on adults. K rner's study is the first to examine children." Children from the age of five are able to recognize and understand the body postures of others," the professor adds.
The researchers carried out their experiment with 108 fourth graders. One group was to assume(装出)two open postures for one minute each. The other group posed with their arms folded in front of them and their heads down. The children then finished a series of psychological tests. The children who had assumed an open posture showed better moods and reported higher self-confidence than the children in the other group. The effects were particularly manifest when it came to questions concerning school. "Here, powerful body postures had the strongest effect on the children's self-confidence," says K rner.
"Teachers could try and see whether this method helps their students." However, K rner states that expectations about this technique should be mild. The effects were only short-term. Serious problems or mental illness must be treated by trained professionals.
28. Which of the following shows a person may feel uneasy according to Paragraph 2
A. One rests his head on the table.
B. One seldom moves his feet in a conversation.
C. One folds his arms before his body with a bent back.
D. One crosses his arms behind his head and lies on the sofa.
29. What is the new research on powerful body postures mainly about
A. What the most popular postures are.
B. How children's postures differ from adults'.
C. Why body language can express a person's feelings.
D. What effects postures have on students' feelings.
30. What does the underlined word "manifest" in Paragraph 4 probably mean
A. Strange. B. Obvious. C. Unclear. D. Manageable.
31. What is K rner's attitude to teachers' applying the findings in teaching
A. Worried. B. Doubtful. C. Objective. D. Supportive

As students share their talent with those in need, students come to the realization that they can make a difference.
Papirmeister was awarded a Society for the Arts in Healthcare grant(拨款)to bring artworks to patients, their families and staff of the oncology unit(肿瘤科). She also received two SCORE Awards for her efforts to comfort patients and their families. When I was in high school a few years ago, I was an energetic and brave teenager. I loved smiling, writing, and doing sports, especially football.
One day, my football teammates and I took part in an important football game. After the game began, the ball was soon kicked in my direction. I received the ball and crossed it twenty feet toward the goal, just in time for my teammate to meet it and hit it right into the net. "Good shot!" everyone shouted. The game started well.
Later, the game became more and more challenging as the other team tied with our team. And in the second half of the game, the score was still one to one until I received the ball with one minute left. I needed to hit the ball into the net, and I had a successful try, making the final score two to one. But in the meantime, a bad thing happened.
In an attempt to block my shot, one player from the other team challenged me in midair. But instead of hitting the ball, his body happened to hit mine, while my teammates shouted cries of victory and horror at the same time.
When I woke up, I found myself lying in a hospital bed, surrounded by my family members, friends and teammates, with a great pain in my right leg. There were also doctors around me, who told me how serious my injuries were. To my surprise, I would have to undergo a very rare operation that had only been performed a limited number of times in the United States, and the success rate is only 50 percent.
After considering for a long time and getting the support of people around me, I decided to have the operation because I knew that no matter which way I chose, there would be many challenges waiting for me. Would I be able to return to school What effect would it have on my social life, hobby or future These questions took over my mind. However, only time would provide answers.

1.续写词数应为150左右;
2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。

I work with hundreds of people. We develop programs that teach tourists to enjoy the wildlife without destroying it.(18)My people also help some organizations keep the islands clean. We have several national parks in Samoa. The land nearby cannot be used for housing or other modern development. In the Falealupo Rainforest, you can have the opportunity to sleep in trees, which is the most attractive.(19)There are many amazing waterfalls, and miles of wonderful, empty beaches. I hope you’ll all have an excellent stay here while you research the way we take care of Mother Earth.(20)
